I grabbed the tray behind me and hit him with it, "I told not to touch me."
Grinning like a wolf, he raised his hands, "I'll let you touch me then."
"I don't want to touch you, Davon. You are not my type," I snapped, lying, and a big amount of the people watching chocked on their laughs.
"That's not true," he said confidently.
"I think I know what my type is."
"I know you do, it's me. You're just lying," he countered.
"You are too full of yourself, it's baffling."
"You'll get used to it again," he winked at me. "Come with me," and then turned around and began to walk to a table where his friends and his brother were, all watching me curiously. As if.
I just grabbed a cold Savva-Cola and went to my old table that was empty, then all my siblings and the boys followed with Bianca, all side-eyeing me. When I sat down, they all sat down. And as I opened the bottle and sipped from it, they all stared at me, waiting for me to explain, probably.
"What was that?" Kat whispered, giggling.
"How would I know?" I brushed away.
"You were blushing," Alec gasped, "again, both times because of him."
"No, I was red with anger, it's different," I scowled.
Bianca cackled and I glared at her, "What? I just find it amusing."
"Then don't," I groaned.
"What do you know that we don't?" Naomi giggled, asking Bianca.
"Nothing you won't know soon," she chuckled.
"Bianca!" I hissed. "Shut up."
"Do you have a crush on Van Hyden?" Maddie asked me.
"No, ew, no!" I groaned.
But then all of the ones sitting in the seat in front of mine began to look up, to something behind me, and I cursed mentally, knowing exactly who was behind me, feeling my heart race, but I refused to look and clenched my jaw. That familiar big tanned right hand appeared at my right side, setting a tray with all that used to eat on lunch back then, in front of me, and then the left one appeared at my left and by the shadow, I could tell he was caging over me, "Can you say that on my face, starlight?" He whispered right above my ear.
Damned bastard, my skin is burning, "I'm not hungry anymore," I snapped.
"Kat, right? Can I?" He spoke and Kat, who was at my right, quickly opened space for him, and then he sat down at my side, and I forced myself to keep my eyes on the Savva-Cola in my hand instead, feeling his mismatched eyes burn my skin like fire. "You have to eat, starlight. You lost weight from last time."
"You guys know each other," Alec accused and I wanted to curse him.
"A bit more than that, right, starlight?" Davon chanted.
"I met you yesterday," I snapped, still looking at my Savva-Cola.
"Have you been here before?" Alec, again, asked him, invasively.
"Stop, Alec," I hissed at him.
"Have you attended VHA before?" He insisted.
"I have, yes," he took one of my curls in his finger. "A millennial ago."
"Is he the reason?" Alec hissed at me.
I clenched my jaw, "I haven't been here before, Alesso, remember?"
"Oh, come on," he groaned. "Is he?"
"Have you fucking lost it?" I hissed at him, because what the hell?
"No, Lyssa, the one who lost it was you. I'm searching for the reason."
I froze when he said that, "I, did, not, lost, it!" I hissed defensively.
"You did, Lyssa," Kat said.
"You can't even lie about that," all my sisters said together.
"Wait, are you really the girl who came a millennial ago? Alamea?" Isaac dropped down next to Naomi, and soon both Celeste, Perseus, Maxwell, Yuji, and Mordred dropped with us, exactly next to the siblings I paired them with, except Yuji who's mated and engaged, and sat between Dex and Dox.
"I don't see how that concerns you," I hissed.
"It concerns my brother, so, it concerns me," he countered.
"And why is it that it concerns your brother?" Alec questioned.
"Because Eric and Alamea got... involved for nearly a year," Isaac exclaimed.
And fuck, the fact that this confirms he is Eric sets me off.
"Eric? Didn't you say that Eric was their father?" Alec fucked everything.
"You what?" Davon gasped. "You thought I had a son with someone else?"
"Wait, you really got involved with him?" Louise's jaw dropped. "What?"
"Shit," Cain, Desdemona's brother popped up, sitting with the sister I set him with, like fate is working with me for this. "So, you aren't just identical to her."
"You are her," Salazar, Silas Amblecrown's brother joined.
Then so did Desdemona and Silas.
"No, I'm not," I insisted stubbornly.
"Hah," Desdemona giggled, "are you Alexandria too?"
I cursed, "Who invited you? No. Who invited any of you? It's a demon table."
"And how do you know that when you claim this is your first time here?"
I glared at the guy, identical to Maxwell, who dropped next to his brother, in the only remaining empty spot in the table. "I claimed it as such."
"In which of your times here?" Yuji purred.
"See what you've done, brother?" I glared at Alec.
"Don't do that," he cried when everyone stared at him.
"He's your brother too?" They all asked.
"Alyssaaaaaaaa!" He and Kat growled.
"Fuck you," I stood up, but Davon grabbed me and made me sit down again. "I don't want to be here, let me fucking go, Eric!" I hissed. "Or should I say Davon? What is your name even, you fucking bastard?"
"Oh, come on, we both lied, Mia," he scoffed.
"No. You lied worse. I had no idea who you were," I snapped. "Do you know how I felt? I thought Davon and Isaac were your sons, because you lied!"
"Do you really wanna get started on who hurt the other most?" I glared at me.
I swallowed, clenching my jaw, "I did what I had to do."
"You left me in here."
"I have a family," I hissed.
"And they are all here now, are they not? Didn't you leave me because your baby siblings needed you? Well, they are very grown and here now. Will you keep running? Because I'll keep chasing you, just like I did then. Besides, you came here, claiming to be Alamea's daughter, I think we're even."
"Her daughter that she had before she came here," I snapped.
"Still, you lied to me. You made me think you'd stay and then you left me."
"Soooooo, the reason was a boyfriend," Iris scoffed. "And you didn't even tell us. We would have understood it, Lyssa."
"The reason for what?" Percy asked. "What happened in the last millennial."
"If any of you say a word about the last millennial, I will beat up so hard, it will put the monsters in Tartarus to fucking fear," I hissed and they all flinched, even the twins. "You just fucked the plan, great, thank you. I shouldn't have let you come with me. It was a fucking mistake."
"Lyssa," Jade swallowed, "don't say that, that's not fair."
"You know what's not fair?" I hissed, pushing Davon away and standing up, out of the seat. "You know what? I'm not even going to tell you shit, because you will realize how unfair this fucking life is, and you are going to pity. And I don't want no one's pity, I would rather die in fucking Tartarus. Thank you for nothing, Alesso, I knew you coming here to spy on me was a horrible idea from dad. If I can even call him that, I'm starting to doubt every-fucking-thing in my life."
Grabbing my bag, I opened a portal to the bridge.
"I won't accept your apologies, Alec, you fucked up. You fucked up bad. See you on class," then I raised both my middle fingers and jumped into the portal.
"Mia!" Davon called me, but the portal was already closing.
As I landed on the bridge of the entrance of the school.
Taking a deep breath, I went to the left edge of the bridge and climbed on it, but as I threw myself from it, two strong arms hugged me by my waist, jumping with me and I screamed with the sudden action, especially when the scent and the heat that overflowed through my body told me who it was.
Then we were falling down the Cliff of Death.
