Tara Chione Crowther Abdelaal

I was hunted by one that were powerful enough to take my dad head on and kill him in the process, when I was 6 years old. Even with 80% of my power sealed, I was still hunted by low and mid level demons, which is also extremely rare. Dad knew I would be in danger, that's why he put the seal in me, but it's bound to fade with time, it's not eternal, and when it fades, I just know I'll struggle to keep it all under my control, and many people might get hurt in my reawakening.
And I both hope and fear that it won't take long.
A knock came from my door and I heard it with my left ear that was free from my right that had an ear bud in it, listening to Nori Brandyfoot by Bear McCreary, one of the instrumentals of the first season of The Rings of Power, a serie from the world of Lord of the Rings. Pausing the song, I stood up from the study desk where I was drawing whatever in it as I daydreamed, then I closed my sketchbook, hid it under the secret compartment of the desk drawer, and turned to go open the door.
When I did, I had the unpleasant lucky of finding Micah Gustavo Avak'yan Montevecchi there. He's been dating Cleo for nearly three years now, and I've been struggling to deal with, to stop crushing this bastard, but it's extremely hard, even though he hates me, and I act like I hate him. Micah is the monitor of our year, he's the top 1 student, as he aces magical classes like Cleo doesn't, making her top 2 overall but top 1 of the girls, and everyone acts like they are perfect and a couple from fairy tales, which I can't help but to hate it.
He's one of the only hybrids in the Academy, son of the King of the Vampire Court that is in Italy, with the 3rd Princess of the Shifters Court that is in Armenia, he was born in Italy and is from there, he's half vampire and half winter wolf, and the strongest guy in the Academy by far, in all means. The Abdelaal Court is in Egypt, but they don't necessarily live there, and in all truth, I doubt his do too. Micah is ultimately the Crowned Prince of the Vampire Court, as his mother married his father and became Queen.
"What do you want?" I hissed annoyed.
"It's not what I want, it's what Mrs. Sicula wants, Chione," he hissed back, clearly hating to have to come to me for whatever reason Herennia Sicula, that headmaster, wants, which can't be good, because she hates me, "and she wants you in the auditorium. In fact," his amethyst hunter eyes stared at the Rolex watch in his left wrist, "we should already be there, the meeting with the high classes are already starting, and we are needed in it. I mean," he grinned viciously, "I'm needed in it because I'm able to do something, you're probably only needed because of your money, so, it's different."
Not my money. "What meeting?" I frowned, glaring up at him, and hating how tall he is, all vampires are tall, shifter are even taller, as a hybrid he's disgracefully taller than both.
Micah sneered, "I would know if I were there, but as the junior year monitor, I'm obligated to come catch the irresponsible students who are sneaking out of meetings. You are that kind of pest I have to eradicate, so, for our mutual disgust, I was obligated to come here and grab you to the auditorium. Unreasonably or not, you are the Crowned Princess of your court."
Not my title. "Whatever," I mumble under my breath, closing my door, locking it, and turning back to him, who was glaring at him with intense hatred, so much it made me sick, especially because I've never done anything to him, but he took Cleo's fake pain. They always do, I should be used to it, but I'm not. "What?" I hissed.
"There's something weird about you," he crossed his arms over his chest, glaring down at me.
"There's nothing weird about me, I'm perfectly fine, perfect as always," I snapped and ignoring him, I began to walk to the stairs, but when he came to grab my arm, I instantly jumped away from him.
I shouldn't have, not when I made them think I'm clumsy.
"When did you get those reflexes?" He narrowed his eyes, his deep and raspy voice thickening with suspicion, which made me feel sick.
"I don't see how that concerns the likes of you, hybrid." Very hypocritical of me, as I'm technically a hybrid too, but not necessarily. "Don't touch me with that filthy hands of yours, I'm allergic to vampires and shifters, and you happen to be a venomous combo of both, meaning I'm extremely allergic to the likes of you over anyone else, and I also hate you. Don't dirty me with your paws."
He scoffed, his pretty face contorting with bitterness, "How can you sleep at night?"
"How would you understand anything about that when lowly bats like the likes of you don't need sleep?" I rarely sleep at, if I sleep for a week in a year, it's all I need, it comes with the perks of being of my dad's order. "You talk as if I had committed a crime," the only 'crime' I'm committing is lying and fooling everyone in here.
"I'm baffled that you dare to ask that, after all you've done to my Cleo, you disgraceful bitch," now, that's the Micah most don't know, but the one I'm most comfortable with, the side of him that's made of the worse parts of him.
"Oh, yeah, because she's a Saint," I mocked.
"She is," he hissed defensively and I almost flinched.
"You are a fool, Montevecchi," I said under my breath.
"Said the one in the 73rd position," he mocked me.
I'm technically is first, "And you act like a little boy, when you're already a grown ass men, it's utterly ridiculous and embarrassing," I snapped.
"You calling someone ridiculous, never thought I would be alive to see that coming, especially from you," he provoked me, leaving a bitter taste in my tongue, and then he grabbed my covered left shoulder, opened a portal, threw me threw it, and into the auditorium, to the very back of it, far away from our classmates. "Mission accomplished," he mocked and then vanished from my side, leaving only the trace of his peach, blood orange, and cardamom scent behind.
