Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Scars of war

In the scorching lands of Somalia, where the sun's intense rays baked the earth, a young boy named Kane was born in the midst of chaos. His early years were marked by the sounds of gunfire and screams, as the once-peaceful kingdom was ravaged by civil war.

Kane's father, King David, a just and fair ruler, fell to the treacherous blade of the tyrant, Malakai, when Kane was just a toddler. His mother, Queen Becca, fled with her son, seeking refuge in a small village on the outskirts of the kingdom.

The villagers whispered among themselves, their eyes filled with a mix of pity and awe, as they spoke of the prophecy – of the boy who would wield the power of the elements and bring balance to the war-torn kingdom.

As Kane grew up, his eyes seemed to hold a fire that burned brighter with each passing day. His heart, heavy with the loss of his father, longed for revenge against Malakai.

Years passed, and the village became a refuge for those seeking escape from the war. But as Malakai's grip on the kingdom tightened, Queen Becca knew they couldn't stay hidden forever.

One fateful night, as the stars shone brightly above, Queen Becca called out to Kane. Her voice, laced with a mix of sadness and determination, echoed through the village square.

"Kane, my son, the time has come. We must flee, for Malakai's men are closing in. Our journey will be treacherous, but I promise you, one day you will reclaim your rightful place as the king of Somalia."

And with that, their journey began, under the cover of darkness, into the unknown.
