Chapter 5: The Map of the Ancients
Kane returned to his mother and Ahmed, his mind racing with the ancient one's words. Queen Becca's eyes narrowed as he approached.
"What did you learn?" she asked, her voice low and urgent.
Kane recounted his encounter with the ancient one, and the mention of the Elemental Stones. Ahmed's expression turned thoughtful.
"I've heard of such stones," he said. "But I never thought they existed. If they do, they'd be hidden in treacherous locations, guarded by powerful entities."
Queen Becca nodded. "We need a map, one that will lead us to the stones. Ahmed, do you know of such a map?"
Ahmed hesitated before pulling out a worn leather parchment. "I've had this for years, but I never thought it was more than a myth. It's said to be a map of the ancients, leading to the Elemental Stones."
Kane's eyes widened as Ahmed unrolled the parchment, revealing intricate symbols and markings.
"This is it," Queen Becca said, her voice filled with determination. "Our journey begins now. But first, Kane must prepare himself."
And so, Kane spent many moons training in the thick forest, honing his skills and building his strength. He learned to navigate the treacherous terrain, to identify deadly creatures, and to harness his inner power. Ahmed taught him combat techniques, while Queen Becca instructed him in the ancient lore of the elements.
As Kane trained, the forest became his classroom, and the creatures his teachers. He discovered hidden waterfalls, and learned to listen to the whispers of the trees. His body grew strong, his mind focused, and his spirit fierce.
Finally, the day arrived when Kane felt ready. He stood before his mother and Ahmed, his eyes burning with determination.
"I'm ready," he said. "Let's follow the map, and claim the Elemental Stones."
