The solution had been to fix a cup with the padding and the metal support to the stump and then fix it to the prosthesis. It was not perfect but it was much more comfortable and in the end it was more fixed and better anchored. He now dared to walk without crutches, although to go to work, as it was a long journey, he still used them to rest his weight a little.
