"Fog?"
Overwhelmed by the thick fog surrounding the gaps left by the towering trees, it looked just like a layer of clouds.
"Perhaps that's the boundary of this space."
Stroking his chin thoughtfully, Liam shook his head and continued:
"Never mind! These mysterious matters aren't the focus right now. I came here to bathe in the mana lake."
He glanced down at the mana lake, then looked around as if searching for someone. The mystery of the fog or these ruins couldn't captivate him at this moment.
"Where's James? Anyway, this might be the first time I've been away from him like this. It feels a bit strange."
Throughout the journey since leaving Atlas Town, the two had rarely been apart. They were like comrades in arms.
The reason, Liam could guess in part, only needing a bit of confirmation. And, as expected, his guess was correct.
James was still over by the clearing with Lewis, but he seemed quite irritated and frustrated.
