Sebastian chuckled to himself as he scrolled through the CCTV footage on his tablet, watching Charlotte's every move. He had installed cameras in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and entrance, giving him a thorough view of the entire house.
He couldn't believe he had stooped so low as to cut off the water supply, hide all the food, and even manipulate his alarm clock to go off at 4:50 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m.
"She's going to leave the house now," he muttered to himself, wondering if Charlotte was clever enough to realize that he would change the passcode, making it impossible for her to re-enter the house.
