My name is Wave Aquiria, I'm twelve years old, blue-haired, blue-eyed, tall and have the shape of a wrestler. Right now, I'm on the ground on all four limbs weeping like a baby. I just received my enrollment letter into the United Hero Organisation Training Programme, the school for training Evolved humans to be heroes. You'd be wondering why I was weeping, perhaps they were tears of joy, or perhaps there was another dumb reason, but actually, it was because I was admitted into Class V. 'V' stands for villains, yeah, I'm gonna school with Villain's children. I never met my parents, but I knew they had a history with the Villains. And now I had to pay the price. I knew from that moment that my life would never be the same.
I knelt in front of the big compound. Three cylindrical towers, almost high enough to be sky scrappers, staring at them, I yelled;
"UHOTP, you'll pay for this, how dare you put an innocent girl like me in Class V?!"
The other freshmen looked at me with faces of disgust while walking into the school to get their letters, with their parents they muttered about how disgraceful I was and how I was embarrassing myself. Of course, I could just quit, but I needed to prove my aunt wrong. She always said that I would never do anything right, especially Heroism. And plus, the UHOTP made sure that only they could admit the children of any villain, so I was on my own.
"You'll see, I'll become..."
Then, I was blasted away from the compound by a large number of dark clouds, my movements were restricted, only my eyes were out of the darkness, and then I saw a man in a dark purple suit and dark purple trousers, a light purple inner shirt and purple shoes, he had a French moustache (It's what I call a goatee), and a rose in his hand.
"Isn't it a beautiful day," He said sniffing the flower, "One too beautiful to be interrupted by disgraceful scum like you!"
Suddenly, the clouds became darker and tightened upon my skin even more.
"Do stop embarrassing yourself and leave," He said, "You do not belong where you do not belong, and guess what; you don't belong here."
I tried to keep my calm, but tears flowed endlessly from my eyes, not because of the crushing pain he was inflicting on me, or the shame of being put in such a horrible class, but the pain I was feeling from being insulted.
"The sins of the father, being passed to the sons," he said, "It's only fair."
It's not, I thought, It's not fair, not at all, the sins of the father are the sins of the father, and the dibs of the son are the sins of the son, please, let me go. Yes, I wish to say it but this man is too terrifying.
He then squeezed the clouds even more and threw me across the street into a forest.
This is a hero school I thought Are these people really teaching heroes? Is this the world-known UHOTP?
Then slowly, my eyes closed on their own, a red liquid dripped from my head, and I slowly drifted into a land of dreams.
WEJ, WEJ, WEJ WEJ, WEJ, WEJ, WEJ
I heard loud crashes, and slowly, a lining of light appeared, the gradual awakening of my eyes, and then, I realised I was at home in my room. Unlike most people my age, I didn't have large posters of celebrities or games or any of those other stuff, her room was plane white, with a blue and white bulb on the ceiling, a door right of the bed, a table opposite the door and a shelf beside my bed, I got off the bed from the right side and smashed my head onto the wall and then it cracked creating a loud boom.
Don't crash the house, Westmill haven't eaten dinner, my sister said from downstairs. My head then rang loudly. Then I touched my forehead and felt that it had been bandaged. I turned around and leaned on the wall, then I went down and sat on the cold floor. Should I really be responsible for anything my parents may have done?
I crossed my arms over my legs and stared at the ceiling. With a big sigh, I got up and went downstairs. Once I got down the stairs, I looked to my left and entered the living room. Where my aunt and sister were eating. My sister was a little shorter than me but her hair was longer than mine, my aunt was beautiful with brown hair and orange eyes. They were eating bread and jam. The bread and jam were on a table in the middle of the room with two couches left and right of it. Our TV was placed opposite the door. I'm sure you can already guess that we were not the richest around.
"Hey brat, come here and eat," My aunt said.
As I walked inside, I looked at her and saw that she had a black eye and her arm was bandaged.
She was probably out drinking, I thought.
I sat beside my sister by the left of the TV.
"You're starting school soon," My aunt said, "In Class V."
"Y... yes," I stammered.
"Well, kid," she said, "You gotta learn that no matter where you are, you can do better than now."
What is she trying to say? I'm not good enough for her as I am right now, of course she would say that, she has never believed in me, she's just a good-for-nothing bully, she treats my sister better than me. Why?
"The UHOTP is a boarding school, so you won't be coming home," She said, "Good thing I taught you how to fend for yourself."
Yeah, by leaving me to do all the work while my sister played around looking pretty.
"I can't say I'll miss you, but I can say I won't," she continued.
This woman is never positive or negative, it's impossible to understand her, that's just one reason why I dislike her.
"I ordered a cab to come to get you tomorrow," She said, "You'll be off to the UHOTP by tomorrow, so pack your bags."
I will be so happy to leave this house, I'm sure that class will contain people who want to atone for their parents' crimes, it will be a class of people who want to create a new identity, I am sure of it.
"What you thinking about Wave," My aunt asked me, "Eat."
I took some bread and put a spoon in the jam, spreading the jam all over it.
"What are you doing here, aren't you going to sleep," She asked.
I used that as an excuse to storm off into my room. I charged up the stairs and into my room and then I ran to my bed and jumped on it face down.
When will I start enjoying my life, I thought.
The next day,
I woke up, it was morning, but still dark, I picked up my alarm beside my bed, and I saw that the time was 4:05.
I thought;
I still have time, I still have time.
Then I went back to sleep
Oh no, I haven't packed yet
I quickly ran to my wardrobe on the left side of my bed and opened it. Oh yeah, My travelling bag.
I looked under my bed and reached for a travelling bag.
I threw clothes into the bag without folding them. I had five in my hand so I held the handles and swung it so that it could go into the correct shape.
As soon as I had finished packing my bags, I ran downstairs to go prepare my breakfast.
I walked past my aunt's room quietly so I wouldn't wake her up. I then tiptoed down the stairs to the kitchen by my right. Then I entered it and opened the cupboards. There was peanut butter, some pickles, eggs and beans in a can.
God knows why people would ever can food
I thought.
I ran to the fridge to look for more food. And inside, I saw frozen eggsauce, or perhaps my eyes noticed it first. It was in a plastic bag so I took it out and poured it in a frying pan.
I then thought;
I wish we had a microwave, Aunt Jessica refuses to get one, she thinks it's a useless waste of money, just like getting a phone or laptop or even a tablet for me.
I turned on the gas and then put the frying pan on the fire, then I began moving the pan continuosly.
"This isn't actually necessary," I muttered.
Before long the eggs had began smoking and then I took the pan off of it.
I went to the living room and sat on the couch and began eating the egg sauce.
I then levitated a water bottle to come to me from the fridge. As I drank it, I heard footsteps.
Then my sister looked at me from the hallway after the stairs and then shook her head, she said, "Pretending to have Telekenisos?"
"No," I replied, "Using my Aquatikenisos to make life easier for myself."
"Well,a gorilla ike you can't even think to pretend," she replied.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
She replied, "Sigh(literally), it means you're too stupid to realise your own worthlessness."
Her words pierced me and caused me to look at my hands.
Why does everyone think I'm so small
Eventually...
I was standing in front of the open cab door and in front of my Aunt and Royale, my sister.
"Goodby Wave," She said, "I hope you survive."
I shook her hand in formality and entered the cab.
The driver was a middle aged man with brown hair and a beard.
He turned on the engine then I looked out the window, I showed no emotion to my Aunt and Royale. The cab drove off, and slowly, they disappeared, never to be seen (until next term)
We drove for about 4 hours and then we got to the UHOTP, I was almost asleep but I managed to see it.
"Hey Mark," I called the driver, "This is my stop."
He raised his eyebrows and then said, "Nope, it's still about two hours and twenty minutes away," he replied.
What? Is my class that far away from the school?
We drove down the road the school was for two hours. The road was mostly bumpy after the school, that prevented me from sleeping, eventually, we got to a field, and there was a class there, a wooden one, with other buildings around it and the hell of a noise was coming from it.
He entered the field and then stopped.
"This is your stop," Marc said.
"Huh," I replied, "That's unexpected."
I got down and so did he.
He bent down and held my right shoulder.
"Wave," He said, "I'm wishing you good luck, and hoping that you'll come out perfectly."
"Thanks Mark," I replied.
"Now, let me help you with the bags," he said before going to the boot of the car.
I walked to the window of the wooden building and peered in and you won't believe what I saw...
