The door to the bathroom opened and a young girl of about nineteen years old rushed in. "Young lady, are you alright?" Maria, the maid, asked, concern etched on her face.
Rebecca looked shocked, seeing her personal maid who was already killed by Elena and Thomas, she was looking very young and beautiful just like in her teens. Rebecca's eyes widened in shock as she stared at Maria, her mind racing with questions. "How...how is this possible? You're...you're alive! And so young!"
Maria, seemingly confused, curtsied and replied, "Young lady, I don't understand. What do you mean? I've always been your loyal servant, since you were a child."
Rebecca's gaze intensified, her thoughts whirling, she had died hadn't she? Why was she alive again? She stared at her hands that were as soft as silk and looked very mild, they looked the same as they were when she was in her younger years.
Rebecca's eyes lingered on her hands, mesmerized by their youthful appearance. She felt like she was trapped in a dream, a dream that was eerily familiar.
Maria's voice broke the silence, "Young lady, please, you're scaring me. What's going on? Why do you look at me and your hands like that?"
Rebecca's gaze snapped back to Maria, her eyes searching for answers. But Maria's expression was innocent, unaware of the fate that had befallen her in the past.
Rebecca's mind raced with questions, but she couldn't bring herself to speak of the past. The memories were too painful, too raw.
Instead, she asked, "How old am I?"
Maria's confusion deepened. "You're seventeen, young lady. Your birthday was last month."
Rebecca's eyes widened in shock. Seventeen? That meant she had traveled back in time, to a point before her marriage, before her downfall.
A spark of hope ignited within her. Could she change her fate? Could she avoid the pitfalls that had led to her demise?
Maria's voice interrupted her thoughts, "Young lady, are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost."
Rebecca's gaze refocused on Maria, her eyes locking onto hers. "I'm fine," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Just...just help me get ready for the day."
Maria nodded, curtsying. "As you wish, young lady."
As Maria began to help her dress, Rebecca's mind raced with thoughts of the future, of the possibilities that lay ahead. She knew that she had to tread carefully, to avoid the mistakes of her past, but first, she had to start afresh.
"Maria, get my coachman to prepare my carriage,am going to school today." Rebecca instructed, her voice firm and determined, since she was granted a second chance, she had to use it wisely and tge first thing to do was to say hi to her www enemy, and she was going to do it in a good way.
Maria thought she heard wrong, the young miss wants to go to school? The young miss hated going to school and now she wants to willingly go."yes young lady." Maria replied bowed and quickly exited the room.
Rebecca gazed at her reflection, and her eyes widened in astonishment. She was tall, with a slender yet curvaceous figure, her long, raven-black hair cascading down her back like a waterfall. Her skin was a radiant, porcelain-like complexion, with a subtle sheen that hinted at her youthful vitality. Her eyes, a deep, piercing brown, sparkled with a fierce determination, a fire that burned within her. Her full lips, painted a deep red, curled into a resolute smile, as if she was ready to take on the world. She was a vision of loveliness, a true beauty, with a presence that commanded attention.
As she examined her reflection, Rebecca's mind raced with thoughts of her new reality. She was seventeen again, with a second chance at life. She could redo her mistakes, avoid the pitfalls that had led to her downfall. She could start anew, forge a new path, one that would lead her to happiness and fulfillment. The thought sent a thrill through her, and she felt a sense of purpose, a sense of direction.
With a determined glint in her eye, Rebecca turned away from the mirror, ready to face whatever lay ahead and also meet her worst enemy.

The carriage rode through the street, the street she had been refused from seeing as she was just a mistress and wasn't allowed out of the manor unless the official wife gave order, and this order never came once from Elena ,she was always in the fourth prince manor and nerer outside ,being outside now and freely gave her somuch joy ,more than she could imagine.
The carriage pulled over before the school big building, the carriage had just stopped in the right time cause as it seems too ,Elena Carriage had also dropped her and she was just the light untill Rebecca stepped out if the carriage.
In the past Rebecca had always dressed childishly amd her hair was always packed in a pony tail that made her looked very much like a child, but today she looked different, first she was wearing a deep blue dress with flower petals design and her hair was let down ,even her face was looking very radiant ,no one had ever seen Rebecca with a happy smile at school, but today was whole some different.
Rebecca could see the anger that was flashing through Elena face ,even though she was smiling, her eyes was filled with hatred , in the past she hadn't noticed it ,because she was too naive, but now she knew twice than she did in her past life.
" sister Elena I didn't expect you to leave with out me." Rebecca siad smilling innocently as though she couldn't see the loathe.
Elena who had to keep a good image before everyone, had to smile Brightly, especially on the fact that Rebecca had just accused her." Silly Rebecca,Maria said you were still asleep ,so i didn't bother to disturb your sleep."
Rebecca smiled more brightly at the reply." Dear sister ,you don't have to be lenient with me,please scold me next time to wake up early ,otherwise I won't be able to mske it to school and it wouldn't be good for my reputation."
Elena didn't understand why Rebecca was acting this way ,but she didn't want to loose her good lady image." Of course,I would be very sure to awaken you next time sister."
