Rita had barely fallen asleep when the doorbell rang, waking her up.
She didn't need to guess; it was definitely Rick, Zoey, Samuel, and Scarlett.
Looking at the screen by the entrance, sure enough, the four of them were standing there. Rita was surprisingly calm about their unannounced visit. After all, they didn't bring along their usual entourage of chaotic friends and followers, so that was already a sign of respect.
At that moment, little Nivalis flew over. She hadn't slept at all—spent the entire night playing games, watching TV, playing with the cats, and snacking.
Nivalis pointed to the group on the screen and growled, "Are they here to bully you? Do you need me to protect you?"
