The beach house stood in the distance as the twins walked side by side, a heavy silence between them. The golden puzzle piece remained tightly clutch in Mila's hand, her mind consumed by everything that had just happened. Thoughts running through her head, replaying the mysterious encounter, every detail and the bits of what just happened kept replying over and over.
"Mila...wait" Anna utter and gently grab Mila on her arm bringing her out of her thoughts. I know I hurt you and you said that you won't stand in the way, but where does it leave us? I don't want this situation to change us, you are my sister and I love you Mila, I don't even know what Alfonso's decision's going to be, and for what it's worth, he does love you Mila...perhaps even more than he does me."
Mila halted her steps, her eyes reflecting pain. "Anna...it's not just about Alfonso and what he wants. It's about trust, about our bonds as sisters, we are not just sisters we are twins for heaven's sake, Anna!" Mila raised her voice with every word. "You broke that bond, and for Alfonso, he can go straight to hell."
"Mila, please..."
"No Anna...just...just leave it for now, I can't deal with this, not after what just happened, we need to put our focus on finding out what that woman wanted and meant and how does she know father, besides I think she has something to do with this so-called Ghost and maybe it's some sort of a clue to the prophesy everyone is going on about. So, we will have to shift our love lives to the side for now until we have answers."
MEANWHILE BACK AT THE HOUSE
"I wonder where the girls are?" Chad pondered, leaning against the porch wall with folded arms, staring out over the ocean with the moonlight reflecting on the water. "It had been quite a while, I wonder what they are doing?"
"Probably killing each other, or rather Mila is busy killing Anna, and frankly I wouldn't mind if she killed Anna" Tristan remarked with a smirk.
"You're playing rough Tristan, they're sisters and....." Chad began, but his words were cut off by a scream erupting from inside the house.
"Tristaaaaaannnn!, Tristaaaaaannnn!, where the fuck are you, I need help, I can't move," Alfonso echoed from his room.
"Shut up and keep still!" Tristan screamed back.
"I recon you tied those ropes too tight Tristan. Wouldn't that mess with his blood flow?" Chad questioned.
It won't, but if it does, he damn well deserves it, it's the second time he shattered Mila's heart, so now it's personal. If Mila doesn't finish him, I definitely will. Tristan declared with determination.
Chad grunted, "Well, he did play with fire, so he shouldn't be surprised to get burned. You can count me in. Alfonso went too far this time. It's one thing to mess around, but when it comes to Mila...that's a line he shouldn't have crossed." Chad clenched his fists, a steely resolve in his eyes. As he spoke, Tristan shot him a satisfied yet ominous grin that silently echoed Chad's sentiments. "Come, let's make sure he understands the consequences." Chad added lifting himself from the wall and locking eyes with Tristan, both sharing an unspoken understanding.
With a shared nod Chad and Tristan moved swiftly towards the source of disturbance. As they approached Alfonso's room frustration and pleas grew louder. Tristan's grin transformed into an relentless expression. Infront of Alfonso's door Chad gave Tristan one more determination look and spoke. "Right, let's go make damn sure he understands the consequences of his actions." They exchange a final look and enter Alfonso's room.
A bewildered and restrained Alfonso, saw the two figures emerging and shot at them. What the actual fuck do you think you are doing, why tie me up and why so damn tight, I can't even feel my fingers."
"O, so you don't understand, huh?" Tristan scoffed giving him a disdainful look. "Time for you to start talking Italian."
"What the hell is this about?" Alfonso retorted with irritation. "Just spill it so we can clear this up. I haven't done a damn thing wrong."
"I don't know, maybe I must be psychic, but were onto you Alfonso, we know about your so-called secret love affair with Anna." Tristan declared, venom dripping from his words.
Alfonso's expression shifted to shock, his face momentarily drained of colour, but he quickly masked it. "I don't know what the hell you are talking about," he grumbled.
Chad unfazed, grabbed him by the collar, "Cut the crap, Alfonso. We know about you and Anna, we have evidence and just so your crystal clear, we don't know if Anna is still breathing because Mila went after her."
Alfonso's eyes widened. What? No... Anna! You got to do something, damn it. You know what Mila's capable of. Untie me, let me go...."
Tristan moved in from behind Chad, and deliver a powerful blow to Alfonso's face, cutting him off. "You fucking scumbag," Tristan growled through clenched teeth. "You deserve to go to hell."
"Good choice of words," Chad remarked with amusement, fist bumping Tristan. "First time I've heard you swear, though."
Alfonso winced in pain, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. "Chad, I'm begging you. You can do whatever the hell you to me later, but we can't let the sisters fight each other. You know their skills, Tristan, you know very well if they go at it, one of them won't make it out alive.
Chad's patients shattered, and he unleashed a relentless onslaught of punches on Alfonso, with each hit Alfonso's head snap to the side, blood spraying from his split lip. Despite Alfonso's attempt to shield himself and his pleas, Chad's strikes just kept on coming and left no room for escape.
"Chad!! Noooo!! Stop!! What are you doing?" Anna screamed, rushing towards him. She grabbed his arm, desperately trying to prevent him from continuing to punch Alfonso.
Tristan and Chad, both surprised to see the girls halted their assault on Alfonso. Anna dropped to her knees before the bleeding and unconscious Alfonso, her tears flowing freely.
"Chad, what have you done?" she managed to utter between the sobs, she looked up at him and locked eyes. "You better pray he survive this, or I'll kill you myself...
