Akua took a deep breath as she walked into the meeting room, her heart racing with anticipation. Kwame was already there, his eyes fixed on her with a mixture of hope and nervousness.
"Akua, I know I've hurt you," Kwame started, his voice sincere and filled with remorse. "But I want to make it right. I want us to start anew, to rebuild our relationship on a foundation of trust and honesty."
Akua studied him, her heart still wary and guarded. "What does that mean, exactly?" she asked, her voice firm but cautious.
