Arin Burke is a young man, living in a no name village in the middle of nowhere.

"Arin are done chopping the wood", said Grandpa James. An older but stoic man, well past his prime. Arin only answered with a sternly voiced, " not yet grandpa I got a few logs left to go. As he says that, with a weak thunk Arin plucks the are from an old surly oak stump. In its place he leaves a log, as he raises the are over his head. With a sunderous force, he strikes back into the stump with a sickening thud. James just shakes his head, and heads back inside with the furnace. As charcoal burners, James and Arin supply the village with charcoal for the winter. Over the years, the Burke family has become the village focal point. Many eople respect and rely on these people for winter warmth. So when Medith Burke died a few years prior the village mourned alongside James. After all she was his wife for over 50 years.

Nowadays James and Arin are taken care of so that they do not falter. Carla Evans a middle-aged widow, often brings food like today. As Arin splits another log,she rounds the corner as he tosses the split pieces onto a fairly neat pile. As soon as he notices Carla he calls out, " hey grandpa Ms Evans is here with the food" James comes walking out, soot covered but smiling. He politely asks her, " what are you delivering us pudgy charcoalburners today". As he suggestive points to the well kept forms of Arin and himself.

After Carla leaves both Arin and James sit down to enjoy the food. Arin then says," I wouldn't think an alchemist could make anything normal like this". James could only nod as he has kept his mouth stuffed since they began eating. Then James said," even after all these years, I still find her cooking skills surprising but not at the same time" He continues to speak," hey you know we show go see the circus that's come to town after-work tonight." Now Arin can only nod back this time, do to full mouth.
