Harley's eyes grew wide, her ears boiling crimson.
That shouldn't have made me smile, but I couldn't help it. Something primal in me loved Jealous Harley, even if she wouldn't admit it.
She stiffened when I rubbed a thumb across her bottom lip and quickly stepped away from me. "I wasn't jealous. W-w-why would I be? And stop touching me without my permission."
I chuckled. So prickly.
Before I could formulate any kind of response to further piss her off, my phone rang, and I pulled it out of my pocket to find Leo's number on the screen.
"Leo?" I answered, walking away from Harley.
"Boss, you need to check out the tabloid."
"What's wrong?"
"Well… It's about your wife. I'm not sure who wrote it."
I quickly hung up the phone, picking up my tablet from the desk to swipe into my browser.
