Sylus stalked out of the closet room and tossed his tie on the bed. "My family will be there."
I didn't respond, I just turned to head off to my room. As much as I hated to admit it, I was nervous down to my spine. This was his entire family, for goodness sake, and a crowd of reporters. His brothers and sister, a father duo that clearly hated my guts. I didn't like to be where I wasn't wanted.
"Your clothes are in here."
I came to a stop at the sound of those words and immediately turned to look at Sylus. "What?"
"I shuffled your clothes back in there." He nodded a head towards the closet, and I stood there staring at him in disbelief.
"Why did you put my clothes back in there?"
"Why not? Do you like to walk up and down?"
"No." A smug look emerged on my face. "But I figured something out. You really wanted to keep me here in your room."
"Don't get ahead of yourself." He scowled at me.
