Cassandra snapped her fingers, and a figure began to materialize in front of her in a bright light. "Hello, Julia."
Julia was shocked to find herself facing the original Madame Web. She never imagined, even in her wildest dreams, that she would see her again, especially after her death.
"Ca... Cassandra, you're... alive?" Julia struggled to find words. They were stuck in her throat, and she felt it dry up as even breathing became harder.
Julia could sense the anger, frustration, and disappointment directed at her, filling her with fear.
Cassandra said nothing. In a swift, unexpected move for someone her age, Cassandra's fist was suddenly in front of Julia's face, shattering her glasses and breaking her nose.
Julia fell to the ground, stunned by the blow from the original Madame Web.
Without any hint of stopping or offering an explanation for the attack, Cassandra placed her knee on Julia's stomach, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Cassandra raised her right fist high and slammed it into Julia's face again and again, repeating the assault until she felt exhausted.
Julia's face was swollen, covered in blood, with a few teeth missing from Cassandra's relentless punches. Breathing was still difficult with Cassandra's knee pressing into her abdomen.
Cassandra finally lifted her knee off Julia's stomach, her face showing a look of disgust. As she stood, she raised her foot and kicked Julia in the stomach, her high heel piercing Julia's flesh.
This made the battered woman scream with all her might, tears streaming from her eyes as vomit filled the area around her.
Cassandra looked at her with nothing but disdain, watching the woman she had chosen as her successor cry and writhe in her own blood and vomit. "You're weak and disgusting, Julia."
With these words, Cassandra gestured with her hand, and strands of webbing wrapped around Julia's hands and feet, lifting her into the air.
Now the woman with the shattered face was face-to-face with the elderly woman.
Julia wept, either from the pain or from the torment inflicted by someone she once admired. She couldn't find any words, so she lowered her head.
Cassandra grabbed Julia's face with her right hand. "Look at me, you cursed wench. Aren't you going to ask why I'm back? Or why I'm smashing that worthless face of yours, the one you only show off when no one needs it?"
Cassandra didn't allow Julia to respond, continuing, "But you know why you're in this miserable state, don't you, Julia? Now tell me, what's your mistake?"
"Be...cause I...tri...ed...to... make him...bet..ter," Julia muttered incomprehensibly, which only made Cassandra even angrier.
Cassandra slapped Julia hard, causing her to lose a few more teeth. "Speak clearly, you useless whore!"
Julia's mouth was too broken to form coherent words, and this only fueled Cassandra's rage. She questioned how this woman had become so weak, unable to defend herself against an old woman like her.
Green light began to glow in Cassandra's hand as she lifted it toward Julia's face. Julia flinched, fearing another hit.
But to her surprise, Cassandra grabbed her face and started healing some of her wounds, particularly focusing on the injury in her abdomen, ensuring she didn't die.
As soon as the blood had stopped flowing and Julia's face began to heal, she felt a brief moment of relief, only to be slapped again by Cassandra. "Don't think for a second that I'm done with you."
"Now, Julia, tell me, why in the hell didn't you take your responsibility seriously? Why didn't you accomplish the one thing I told you to do?" Cassandra shouted, causing Julia, her swollen cheek and dried blood on her face, to tremble and speak.
"I...I tried... I tried, but I didn't know how," Julia stammered, shaking.
Cassandra was trembling with rage. If she had been an ordinary old woman, she might have suffered a heart attack, sparing Julia from her impending punishment.
Unfortunately, Cassandra wasn't just any ordinary old woman. "You tried? You tried, and you tell me this to my face? If you tried, then why was the Web Center in chaos? Why didn't you stop it? I'm sure you saw the possible future, so why?"
Cassandra's words, combined with her yelling, sent a chill through Julia's bones, and she remained silent.
This only made Cassandra angrier, screaming, "Why the hell, Julia, why?"
"Because I thought it would make him take his role more seriously instead of joking around every time. In every fight, he doesn't take anything seriously, and I thought Otto's control would make him realize that. I knew he would regain his body, and it would be his last mistake," Julia cried, her body shaking.
Julia's words made Cassandra clench her fist so tightly that her knuckles turned white before she struck Julia again, knocking out her front teeth.
"And did you even try to understand why, huh? Tell me, did you try?" Cassandra demanded, shaking, while Julia remained silent.
"You don't know, do you? Well, let me tell you why he jokes, because he's scared. He's afraid of innocent people dying, and he can't save them. He jokes because he's terrified of the fight. He jokes to give hope to the innocent souls and his so-called allies, to make them feel like everything is under control. He uses humor as a tactic to disorient the enemy, making them forget the plan and attack in anger, making it easier for him to fight."
Cassandra's words made Julia's blind eyes widen in realization. For the first time in her life, she understood that she had been terribly wrong about the Spider Totem.
Cassandra didn't stop talking when she noticed Julia's face, recognizing that the woman had realized her mistake.
"Oh, don't give me that look, Julia. Too bad you realized your mistake now. I expected everyone to turn their backs on him, but not you. You were supposed to be his guide, his protector in the shadows, and you failed. Julia, you are a disgrace to my legacy and to the legacy of every Spider-Man."
Cassandra's words broke Julia's heart, and the tears started flowing again.
Cassandra added, "Don't cry because of a few words. Peter has heard these same words from you and others, even worse, both to his face and behind his back."
Julia remained silent, tears streaming down her face, while Cassandra's anger boiled over.
Cassandra grabbed Julia's face and turned her head towards the orb representing Universe 616. "Look at what you've done, Julia. Even if you weren't the direct cause, you are one of the reasons that broke him."
Julia looked at the orb and could see that Universe 616 was no longer the center. It felt as though it was about to disconnect from the Web, which meant its destruction. The only thing holding it in place was the thread infused with Cassandra's power.
This made her eyes widen in fear of the worst. "No, no, it can't be. He's alive, isn't he?" she asked, trembling.
Cassandra slapped her again. "If he were dead, we'd all be dead, you fool. But he almost died, thanks to you and the idiots from Universe 616. He was about to end his life, which would have meant the collapse of all the damn universes. He's the reincarnation of Anansi, you fool-the one who created the Web, the very Web that grants you, me, and every Spider across the Web their power."
Julia trembled in fear, her mind not fully processing Cassandra's words. All her brain registered was the one thing she never expected: "He tried to end his life," she muttered, her voice shaking and tears starting to burn her swollen cheek.
"Isn't your concern for him a bit late, Julia? Do you hate him that much?" Cassandra asked with a furious face.
Julia began struggling against the bonds on her hands and feet, screaming, "Impossible, impossible! He wouldn't think of that. He's stronger than that!"
Her resistance was futile, as the Web binding her was infused with Anansi's cosmic power.
Cassandra grabbed Julia's face angrily. "I asked you, do you hate him so much that you enjoy torturing him?"
These words made Julia cry as if her tears would solve everything.
"Answer me, damn it!" Cassandra yelled, enraged.
"No, I don't! I love him, damn it! All I ever wanted was for him to take things more seriously," she cried, sobbing. "I love him."
Cassandra looked at her with nothing but disdain. "You love him, huh? Big words. If you truly love him, then you need to understand him. And I know how to make you understand."
"First..." Cassandra placed her hands on Julia's head and began draining Madame Web's power from her body.
With a wave of her hand, Cassandra pulled the small orb representing Earth-616 towards her and embedded it into Julia's heart, causing her to scream in pain.
"From now on, you will feel every pain Peter has ever experienced in his life. I hope your heart is strong enough to endure it. If you survive, you'll regain your position as Madame Web. Only then will you understand your responsibility. If you fail, you'll vanish along with your pathetic Earth."
With another gesture, Cassandra cast Julia out of the Web, causing her to fall on top of Gwen, who had been swinging through the city. The two of them crashed onto a car.
Cassandra watched with an unreadable expression. "Lucky you," she muttered
**With Peter**
Peter was traveling through the dimensional rift, surrounded by small white orbs and flashing colors that made his eyes hurt. Even with his eyes closed, the pain was still intense.
What Peter didn't know, and hadn't noticed, was that the orbs represented the DC universe. Every time he passed near one of these orbs, his body would create a web and pull it along with him.
If anyone were paying attention, they would see that with each orb Peter's web touched-representing other universes-it created a new life for him within it, from beginning to end. New timelines were being created, while the old ones were erased, making it seem as if Peter had been born there from the start.
The flashing lights suddenly turned into a pure white glow, causing Peter's eyes to hurt even more. Then, the white light vanished, and he began to feel the warmth of the sun on his face.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a large room, lying in a warm bed, completely naked. This made him feel disoriented. "What is going on?"
Suddenly, he felt something move beside him. He looked to his side and saw a head of black hair. The person next to him mumbled, "Honey, close the window, I'm still tired from last night."
Peter was in shock. "Huh?"

I hope the punishment is satisfactory. Julia will experience the same pain that Peter experienced, which she may have caused him, so that she can taste the bitterness from the same cup.
I think I'm going to take a break after this chapter. I didn't even want to post it now. I was going to wait until next week but I just decided to post it to get this nonsense over with and move on to the DC world.
You didn't expect the last part. You expected that he would just go there and no one would know him and he would start over and all that nonsense.
In my opinion it would be difficult for Spiderman to take his place among DC heroes. It is known that even their strongest heroes patrol the small thieves and they have no shortage of even the big heroes stopping the small thieves.
This is the essence of DC I think with my head not my ass if you are looking to start from scratch in this kind of world then believe me it will not work in my opinion whoever does that always finds many punishments in the story
Another thing Spider-Man has personal enemies here as well, as he shares most of the enemies of the Justice League members.
Because it helps all heroes and thus earns the enmity of their personal enemies.
Tell me what you think of the chapter.
Did you expect that?
Who is the woman Peter woke up next to?
I won't think about posting until you find out who she is. If you don't, wait a week and you will find the answer with a picture.
Just to help DC with my story it has many characters from different dimensions mostly female characters and also villainous characters and that woman is one of the Justice League of Earth 23
