As Shoi lay in bed, the room was dimly lit by the soft glow of a nearby lamp. His mind was racing, trying to grasp the gravity of the situation. Suddenly, a voice echoed in his head.
"Umm, where is this..." The voice sounded confused and distant.
Shoi recognized it immediately. "Oh, hello, hello, you're awake!"
"Uhmm…" the voice trailed off.
"What was your name?" the voice asked hesitantly.
"Shoi. It's Shoi," he replied, trying to sound reassuring.
"Oh, Shoi… Umm, I'm trying to remember something, but I can't seem to do it... for some reason," the voice said, frustration evident.
Just then, a notification flashed in Shoi's mind.
[New Mission Arrived]
Objective: Trick the soul of the Mother of Madara Uchiha into believing she is here to revive the Uchiha clan. Convince her that she is here to be your wife and restore the Uchiha clan before her memories recover.
Rewards: Degenerate Points 500+, Increased proficiency in lying, Body Recreation Jutsu.
Shoi's eyes widened as he processed the mission details. He turned his attention back to the voice. "So, do you know who madara Uchiha is?"
"Madara Uchiha? I don't know who that is. I only know that I'm here and… I don't remember much," the voice said, sounding genuinely puzzled.
"hmm so you don't remember much."
"I wont waste much time then i will tell you"
Shoi tried to keep his voice steady, knowing how crucial it was to maintain the illusion.
"I Am Saintess??" The voice asked.
"Exactly. You are the saintess of the Uchiha clan.
Your role was to restore the clan whenever it faced extinction. When the clan was nearly wiped out, your soul would be reborn and will find a partner who would help you restore it."
The voice seemed to be absorbing this information, though it sounded both confused and intrigued.
"So, you're saying that I'm meant to be with you to bring back the Uchiha clan?"
Shoi nodded, even though she couldn't see him.
"Yes, that's right. The saintess's soul has been preserved, and now that you've returned, it's time for you to fulfill your destiny. The Uchiha clan's revival depends on our union."
The voice hesitated, her tone betraying a full of skepticism.
"I'm having a hard time believing this. How can I be sure that this is true? How do I know you're not deceiving me?"
Shoi took a deep breath, searching for a convincing response.
"I understand your doubts. It's a lot to take in, especially with your memory loss. But there are signs that indicate this is the truth.
The way you've arrived here, and the fact that you're experiencing memory gaps, aligns with the legend of the saintess.
If you work with me, we can uncover more about your past and prove that what I'm saying is true."
The voice pondered this for a moment. "And if I agree to this... partnership, what happens next? How will we start the process of restoring the clan?"
Shoi seized the opportunity to lay out a plan. "First, i will need to create your body using a forbidden jutsu. Once that's done, we can begin the process of reviving the clan's influence and power. I'll support you every step of the way and help you regain your memories."
The voice sounded more convinced but still uncertain. "Alright, Shoi. I'll agree to this for now.
But I expect you to explain everything clearly and guide me through each step. I need to understand my role and what's expected of me."
"Ok But.. You know you soul is very fragile for now so i think it will be very nice if you rest more and recover"
The Voice nodded and soon again it all fell silent
He signed.. Finally it was no joke considering he was creating story on spot.
[Task Completed]
[Rewards - Degenerate Points: 500, Increased Proficiency in Lying, Body Recreation Jutsu]
"Umm, that was kind of quick..." Shoi mused, looking at the rewards.
The information about the jutsu automatically infused his mind. He glanced at the rewards, feeling a sense of accomplishment, though he was already very sleepy.
Soon, exhaustion overtook him, and he drifted into a deep sleep.
In the morning, Shoi woke up feeling groggy, his body sticky from the sweat of the previous night.
His mind lingered on the strange events of the day before, the task, the rewards—but right now, all he wanted was a refreshing wash to start the day.
Stretching lazily, he made his way toward the bathhouse.
His thoughts were still half-asleep, replaying the memories of the forbidden jutsu he had learned, the weight of his new mission, and the pressing feeling that there was still so much left to figure out.
He absentmindedly headed toward the bathhouse, his thoughts wandering as his feet took him there on instinct.
Without thinking twice, he pushed open the wooden door, stepping inside, expecting the usual empty room filled with warm steam.
But instead, he heard the soft splash of water and froze.
His heart skipped a beat as his eyes fell on a figure at the edge of the bath, the mist barely hiding her form.
It was Hinata, standing with her back to him, her long bluish hair damp from the water, clinging to her pale, bare shoulders. She was reaching for a towel, unaware of his presence.
Shoi's breath caught in his throat, and for a moment, he couldn't move.
His gaze flicked to the side, realizing the steam covered just how little of her. The towel she reached for only barely shielded her modesty, her smooth skin glistening from the bath.
