Joanne POV:
I stared at myself in the mirror, adjusting the collar of my pristine white blouse, making sure not a hair was out of place.
Everything had to be perfect for this. Arec's grandmother, Mrs. Weston, prided herself on appearances.
The innocent, kind image I had worked so hard to maintain would be my weapon today. She didn't need to know what lurked beneath this carefully crafted façade.
I was with Klaus last night, when he made that video in his pathetic attempt to drag Ella's name through the mud, and I knew exactly what I had to do.
This was my chance to play my own part.
I knew Arec's grandmother would never approved of Ella, and only accepted her because of Arec's stubbornness and I had every intention of feeding that disapproval until it consumed her entirely.
If I played my cards right, Ella wouldn't just be out of Arec's life, she'd be destroyed.
