Ava's POV:
It was nightfall, and there was a burning fire at the center of the tents. The kids sat around the fire and kept singing.
It was so beautiful as Yan, Cynthia, and I stood beside the tent and watched it.
Yan's phone rang, and since he was next to me, I could see the caller; it was Keren.
"I will be back." Yan excused himself and left, and I stared at Cynthia, who chuckled and said.
"It's been long since I saw a lady get jealous just because their man received a call."
I pouted, "Who said I was jealous?" And why will I be jealous of Keren? She was his secretary; she made him coffee, fixed his tie, and followed him everywhere. I was even shocked she didn't show up here, so why will I be jealous?
"Hello, Mrs. Earlton," I heard a familiar voice say, and I turned to find Keren, who had just walked towards us with Yan.
My eyes widened in shock. Why was Keren here?
She smiled at me and also at Cynthia.
