Calming down Luffy was harder than I thought !
"Why did you kill her ? She was about to give me something more tasty than meat ! And now she couldn't even explain what all those people were doing out there ! Although it didn't look like something fun, those people were definitely enjoying themselves !" Luffy threw a temper tantrum.
'This fucking brat ! I can't believe it !' I felt my eyes twitching violently.
"Hey Nami, are you even listening ?"
"I am listening ! You dumb captain ! She was trying to kill you just now and you are still thinking about tasty food !" I grabbed his neck and started to shake it shouting at him.
"Sorry….. I was just curious…." Luffy said sadly, making a face of a kicked puppy. A face no one will be able to be angry at. And I would have forgotten about his every mistake if not for his curiosity for sex.
In the end I took a deep breath and exhaled the air.
"Luffy, how old are you ?" I asked him.
"I will turn 17 this may. Why ?" Luffy asked back.
"Well the thing they were doing was called sex. And people who have reached age 18 are only allowed to have sex. So I can tell you about that. If I do that then you will die. Because you are still under age." Luffy gasped in shock.
"Sorry I didn't realize that she was really trying to kill me by telling me about sex…" Luffy said innocently. I can't believe how easily he believed me. Well at least I wouldn't have to worry about him losing his innocence so early.
"Well how about we visit a wonderful restaurant instead. I know you will love the food there." I patted him on his head in order to calm him down. His face immediately turned 180 as he smiled brightly. It was not one of those smiles given by those perverted children who knew that they would get away because they were children. Luffy was completely sincere.
At that moment I found out some interesting and terrifying things about my captain. Luffy is a child through and through. Not just because he was a little dumb but because he was too innocent to be counted as an adult.
I couldn't get angry at him anymore.
"Let's go captain…we will get some meat for you."

"Zoro ! Where the hell are you ? You directionally challenged swords man !"

"Well this is the island I was talking about. It is called the island of forgotten animals. There is an interesting guy living on this Island. Well I guess you should explore on your own to find out the rest." Nami pointed towards the island in front of them. It was a small island in the distance. Luffy was practically jumping up and down from excitement at the edge of the railing.
It was a very beautiful island covered with greenery.
As they reached near the island, Nami circled around as from the side they were approaching was full of underwater rocks that might damage the ship.
As they finally docked their ship, Luffy immediately jumped to the shore along with Zoro. Or at least Zoro had jumped down after Luffy.
But fortunately or unfortunately for him Nami managed to catch him just in time before he disappeared from their sight.
"Where are you going, you lost swordsman ?" Nami was having difficulty holding Zoro's entire body with just one arm. But she was not going to let him go that easily.
"Let me go you damn woman ! I will go wherever I want !" Zoro struggled against Nami's grip.
"No way in hell ! Last time when you went on your own we had to waste an entire day in order to find you ! This time you are going with me ! Who knows, if I let you go then you might get lost and accidentally find one piece ! And that's Luffy's dream. So no way in hell I will let you go !" Nami shouted back at Zoro.
"The hell are you talking about ! And I am not lost !" Zoro glared back at Nami.
"Then tell me which is your right side ?" Nami asked Zoro.
Zoro being the ever infamous multiversal walker, immediately pointed towards his left.
Nami's eyes twitched violently. She immediately let go of Zoro's shirt and told blue without even taking off her eyes from the green haired swordsman.
"Blue ! Go with Zoro. And if you lose him then I will feed you to Luffy." Poor Blue for the first time felt shiver running down his spine.

The straw hats didn't spend much time on the island of the forgotten animals. Gaimon is a funny guy to be around and as Nami expected, Luffy even invited him to the crew, the guy didn't want to leave the animals of the island alone. So he simply refused the offer. Nami had expected this. After all, she has met this guy before. And she knew about his priorities.
Thanks to Blue flying just above Zoro, this time, Nami managed to find him easily. After eating their lunch with Gaimon, the crew finally departed the Island.
But they were not expecting a major crisis to fall on them so soon.
…
"Is that a group of wrecked ships banded together ?" Luffy asked, looking at the distance. It was the time of dusk. So the visibility was not the best. On top of that the sea was covered in light mist, diminishing the vision even more.
"Heeeelp !" From a distance, a cry for help was heard.
"Nami ! Let's go there !" Luffy ordered without a second thought as soon as he heard the cry.
But on the other hand Nami was not keen on following that order full stop because she knew that it might be a deadly trap for them.

AN: Now here is the thing. Nami loves children in general. Even if that child is an enemy. For example, in the egghead Island she was even hesitant to attack S-shark just because he was a kid. Nami in this fanfiction, will have the same personality. I am planning to continue this dynamic between Luffy and Nami for the pre timeskip part. Romance and smut will only happen after the time skip.
