The Luna was more shameless than I remembered. She didn't even try to deny that she had evil intentions against me.
So why was her son acting like she was innocent? He wasn't that stupid not to notice that she was lying. Or did he know but needed more authentic proof?
Would he wait until damage was done before he believed? Typical mama's boys. They never believed their mothers were guilty.
Percy returned from dropping a flower at my father's grave. He walked straight to the car before I could ask what exactly he said that made Alpha Sebastian call for me and ask such an uncomfortable question.
I didn't really hate the question; it was just a reminder that these men were mafia men and had no responsibility to me.
Why did I keep forgetting that? Why did I keep trying to be one of them? Was it so I wouldn't have to pay them for taking care of me and my problems?
