Chapter Eighty: Someone Else
Percy's POV
Second had been giving me a careful look since he brought the young man into the car. It was his classic "I hope you know what you're doing" look. After his "what are you doing!" look back at the school, this was the one that usually followed. It was fine with me, though.
I didn't need to think logically to know that bullying the son of the Hardin Alpha would have consequences. But I didn't care about that now. He had affected my plans. Bullying the little miss also had consequences.
He stopped groaning and hissing and looked up with teary eyes. What a baby. "You haven't answered my question. As a businessman, time is money."
He hissed a long one and finally exhaled. "Wha... what question did you ask? I didn't do anything to her also."
Not yet he hadn't, and he wouldn't. "Why did you ask Mikal to tell her that? She's currently posing as an orphan under the Lennons."
