Chapter Forty-Two:
Seraphina's POV
Third returned with the car, and I really wanted to hide myself. It had been Second's idea, but I had undergone a facial treatment that caused a bad reaction on my skin, and now I had terrible breakouts.
I caught Third's scent at the entrance of the unit and buried myself into the chair.
The worker glanced at the door, her eyes lingering there for obvious reasons before turning back to me. "Your brothers are waiting for you, miss. I'm sorry, but you have to sit up so I can finish."
Brothers? Pfft. It sounded like she wanted to believe that the two attractive men waiting for me at the entrance were only family members.
I didn't bother correcting her—not wanting to raise eyebrows as to why I had bodyguards. I wouldn't want her expecting a bigger tip that she didn't deserve just because she learned I was an heiress.
