Chapter Forty-Five: Reeked of Corpses
Sebastian's POV
Weird things had been happening lately. I wished my days could go back to being filled with quarrelling wolfesses and small-scale stealing due to the hunger plaguing the pack. Now, it was arson and missing dead bodies.
This wasn't the future my father died for. A future where his and the Lead Warrior's corpses got stolen for Goddess-knows-what. How was I going to tell the young lady this?
Geo returned to the gravesite and shook his head, meaning he hadn't noticed anything strange around the forest. There was no note in case this was a 'kidnap.'
"Keep your warriors alert as they watch over the place," I instructed, gesturing around the site. "It's possible the person might return to take more bodies, okay?"
