Chapter Thirty-Seven:
Seraphina's POV
Where the hell had that Percy gone? He should have followed me and seen the disaster caused here. I used my leg to push the rubble aside and picked up a large-sized teddy of mine that was usually in my father's room.
At least something survived. I looked around the room and could barely recognize it. I nearly burst into tears, but then I remembered the two men watching over me.
I exhaled and kept directing them on what to carry. While they worked, I looked at them, having nothing else to do.
In the car, since I had nothing better to do and speaking with Percy would be a pain, I took the time to rate the looks of Second and Third. Silly, I know.
Second had the cliché love-interest vibe with his sleek back neck-length blonde hair and a strong jawline. His amber eyes blended with his hair and skin, and he had a gentlemanly aura.
