Chapter Nineteen – The Visit
Killian's POV
Who gave that King the right to send his daughter to me without a formal permission? I could feel my mate's heart beating faster at the news that her sister was here.
I hated that she felt such fear when I was besides her. She should already know by now that I wouldn't be letting her return to that place, whether her father wanted it or not.
They were a small Kingdom so it wouldn't be hard to pull strings. We reached the room and she let go of my hand and fell on the bed, then I heard the sheets moved and she sighed. Blankets must make her comfortable.
"She probably came with a request or two from your father about the marriage. Don't let it bother you." I told her. I didn't hold unto her anymore to feel her heartbeat, but I knew she hadn't perfectly relaxed yet.
"Do you want me to go and speak to—"
"No." That reply came quickly. "L-Let your sister do it."
