Chapter Hundred-Thirteen – The Delta
Percy's POV
How did Elisa convince me to do this? There had been a small ceremony in the Theroes pack to end the celebration of the war that had taken lives.
It was truly barbaric to me how these wolves kept celebrating when people died. No guilt or sorrow at all.
"He is the one there, right?" Elisa pointed at a muscular man at the far right. I hadn't even seen that guy before.
"No. Most wolves look really muscular, so the Alpha is not recognizable by physical features. Is this your first time in a pack?" I stepped down from the car.
She tsked and got out of the car as well. Second stayed behind her, while looking into his phone. He'd made many trips here that he didn't feel threatened by being surrounded by wolves anymore, but I knew he'd still be able to react if something happened. That's why he was the Second, he had mighty quick reflexes.
