*aether POV*

I had just returned home from the tavern, Paimon followed me making sure I wouldn't hurt myself. I felt hand around my hips, I saw gloves. I turned my head, seeing my boyfriend's head resting on my shoulder. "baby.. Xiao..?"

"Why are you out so late? You were drinking, weren't you?" he rasps , shooing Paimon with his hand.

"Heyy!! Stop that!" Paimon yelled.

"I was with.. what's their name…" I muttered, my eyes closing.

"Forget it. You're coming with me. Paimon, come here." Xiao exhaled, picking me me up. He grunted from my weight but carried me just fine. Paimon floated just behind us.

After waking for a few minutes, I fell asleep.

*Xiao POV*

"So irresponsible." I rolled my eyes and carried him to my room. I put him on the bed and shook him gently. "Aether. Wake up."

He groaned softly and woke up. "My head.."

I scoffed and handed him a cup of water. "Here. Drink it, Now." I demanded.

he exhaled and sipped it. "Now. You need a shower. This way." I grab his waist with one arm, holding him closer to me. He didn't complain and just staggered beside me. I helped him undress. "You're being very well behaved. Thank you."

He nods, stepping into the shower. "Come in.. with me.." I shook my head. "I already showered." He frowned. "Please!" I sighed. "Yes. I guess I can, don't get too used to this." I took off my clothes and got in the shower as well.

*Aether POV.*

After the both of us got dressed, I got in bed beside Xiao. My head hurt a bit but it wasn't as bad as when Paimon was around. I held xiao, despite him being the bigger spoon. "Goodnight my Glaze Lily." He rasps. I smile and nuzzle my head into his neck. "Goodnight. I love you." I tighten my grip on him. "I love you too.." he says hesitantly.
