Chapter 22 - Hulk vs Abomination!

"Hulk!"

Abomination turned around and muttered with hatred.

"Perfect!"

The intense competitive spirit and the loathing that nearly ignited him made him ecstatic at the sight of Hulk.

Having gained such power only after becoming a monster, he desperately needed a true victory, a real revenge to soothe his maddened soul.

Hulk!

The guy who had once kicked him into a wreck!

He must, he must pay back everything he suffered!

Abomination couldn't wait any longer and charged madly toward Hulk.

Hulk, too, with a fierce look on his face, slowly tore off the clothes that were getting in his way, roaring as he accelerated towards Abomination.

In just a few breaths, the two gamma monsters collided.

In an instant, they both leaped into the air, raising their fists filled with explosive power and smashed them down on each other!

Boom!

A shockwave, almost visible to the naked eye, erupted between them, shattering the surrounding lights and glass with a loud crash!

In the clash, the larger and stronger Abomination, who was in better condition, clearly had the upper hand, sending the drugged Hulk flying to the ground.

Seizing the opportunity, Abomination grabbed Hulk's body and hurled him forcefully away.

Hulk, like a baseball being thrown, was completely unable to control his massive body, flying dozens of meters before stopping in front of a police car.

He lay on the ground, shaking his groggy head, barely managing to stand, only to stumble and fall again.

Abomination followed closely, strutting through the flames with a sinister laugh, taunting Hulk, "Come on, keep going!"

Hulk glanced at Abomination, seemingly realizing that his brute strength alone couldn't match him, and then looked at the police car.

He smashed his fist into the car, splitting it in half like cutting a watermelon, and wore the two halves on his hands like boxing gloves.

Abomination charged at Hulk, swinging a punch, but Hulk, with his police car gloves, caught him off guard, forcing him to retreat a few steps.

Hulk pressed the advantage, landing a left punch, then a right, and finally, a right uppercut!

Abomination was knocked to the ground, and Hulk took the chance to sit on top of him, his massive fists raining down like a hurricane, relentlessly pounding Abomination's tough body.

But as everyone knows, New York police cars are the most fragile things, with countless being destroyed every year.

So, after a few punches, the police car gloves in Hulk's hands shattered into pieces on the ground.

Hulk landed two more punches on Abomination's ugly face, only to find that his small fists couldn't seem to hurt him at all.

Abomination spat blood, mocking disdainfully, "Is that all you got?"

It was the same line Blonsky had said to Hulk that day.

But unlike that day when he was easily kicked into pieces, this time, he had the right to say it.

Hulk, enraged by the words, clenched his fist to show Abomination a thing or two, but Abomination grabbed him and kicked him away!

The tables had turned—this time, Hulk was the one kicked mercilessly, crashing into a nearby building.

Abomination roared and continued his pursuit, leaping onto the building from the hole Hulk had created.

At this point, seeing Hulk at a disadvantage in the fight, the helicopter that had been circling high above lowered its altitude, hovering close to Abomination.

"Use the machine gun to help him!" General Ross ordered the helicopter pilot.

"Help which one?"

"The green one! Take out the other one!" Ross shouted.

The helicopter immediately spat out a tongue of fire, a stream of machine gun bullets hitting Abomination.

Abomination, feeling the pain, turned his head, and upon seeing General Ross in the helicopter, flew into a rage.

"Ross!"

Roaring against the bullets, he decided to deal with Ross before Hulk.

Abomination climbed up the building to the rooftop, leaving a trail of damage behind him.

The helicopter followed Abomination, firing bullets as it ascended.

Abomination pretended to flee, luring the helicopter to chase him across the rooftops.

Hulk, waking up from the trash bin on the other side of the building, looked up at the sound of gunfire and saw Abomination and the helicopter flying between two buildings.

Hulk growled, anxiously jumping onto the building in front of him, quickly climbing up and pursuing Abomination and the helicopter.

"Keep firing!" General Ross ordered loudly.

But Abomination suddenly stopped, glancing coldly at the helicopter before changing direction and charging toward it, leaping to grab it.

Seeing this, Hulk immediately sped up and also jumped—

Abomination's massive body stretched out in the air, just like his current joyful heart.

Ross, I finally got you!

But to his surprise, Hulk pounced from the side, grabbing Abomination and pulling him down hard!

Abomination's body immediately dropped, barely managing to grab onto the helicopter's frame, while Hulk clung to Abomination's body.

The two gamma monsters dangled from the swaying helicopter.

Hulk squeezed one of Abomination's spikes hard, while Abomination, not to be outdone, used his free fist to punch Hulk repeatedly.

Finally, unable to bear the pain, Hulk let go, but quickly grabbed Abomination again, pulling him down hard.

This pull caused the helicopter to jolt violently, swaying as it crashed into a water tank on a nearby building.

Abomination and Hulk crashed into the water tank, and the helicopter finally lost control.

The overloaded helicopter, with the two monsters attached, spiraled downward, crashing to the ground.

Hulk weakly got up, looking worriedly at the crashed helicopter.

But Abomination didn't give him the chance to keep watching. Standing atop the wrecked helicopter, he wiped the blood from his mouth and rushed at Hulk with a hiss.

Hulk turned his attention back, looking helplessly at the lively Abomination.

At this moment, due to the effects of the drug, Hulk was in a peculiar state—possessing Hulk's strength but also part of Banner's mind.

So he wanted to protect Betty, he had to defeat Abomination!

Even though his entire body was weak, even though an unprecedented fatigue washed over him as if telling him: Sleep, sleep, and everything will be fine.

No!

He had to pull himself together!

He couldn't lose!

In Hulk's simple mind, this was a battle he couldn't afford to lose, even at the cost of his life!

He forced himself to stay awake, shaking off the exhaustion, his face filled with a beast-like ferocity.

In a flash, Abomination's fist came down, and Hulk raised his fist to block, but couldn't match Abomination's strength.

Hulk was sent flying again, and this time, he was nearing his limit.

Abomination pinned Hulk against the wall, his sharp spikes digging deep into Hulk's body.

"You're not worthy of this power! Watch her die before your eyes!"

Abomination hissed into Hulk's ear, cursing viciously.

"Hulk, take this down!"

Suddenly, General Ross's voice accompanied by a dark object appeared beside Hulk...
