Time seemed to be moving slowly, I could see Xue's expression, she seemed happy, why? I couldn't move, I was frozen in place just like the time was.

Suddenly everything went black, I was surrounded by darkness, there was no light, I was floating through a reflectionless black, it was like a void that had no ending, everywhere I looked, everywhere I turned, everything was... Just nothing...
What is this feeling? I was wrapped with warmth, i was at peace.
I could hear a distant voice, mourning, calling out for me. As I finally got back to my senses and opened my eyes, everyone was lying there dead. I could feel that my cultivation has risen a lot. I quickly started looking for Xue. My worries for her starting to gather more and more.
"Xue!!" I yelled, I saw her white brimming hair and I quickly ran to her. I held her in my arms trying to stop the bleeding from the wound she got on her back trying to defend me.
"Please, please please be okay!" I held her wound, but her blood kept overflowing my hand, leaking out.
"This is bad! Why did you do this! Xue! Why would you save me you idiot!" I hugged her while still holding her wound.
Damn Ace! Think! Think! How can I help Xue?? Give her energy?? I still can't do it because I'm not a silver core cultivator yet! Even if I can go against one doesn't mean my cultivation realm is equal to it.
Xue suddenly spat out blood.

I quickly placed my lips onto hers, trying to pour my internal energy into her. As I was expecting, it worked.

I could feel the blood slowly stopping from her wound.
Is it because of my passive regeneration ability? Maybe it's having an effect on the internal energy transfering. This is way better than I thought.
Her wound slowly but surely closed, I have given about half of my internal energy to her, and because of that supposed rampage earlier I have consumed almost most of my energy. it will take at least a week for me to recover it all.
Suddenly I felt a strong blow on my side, making me break the kiss with Xue and be knocked back far. Some of my ribs were broken and about two were completely shattered.
What was that? I looked up taking my eyes off of my abdominal.
By their shining armour, I figured they were the imperial soldiers, I looked towards where the citizens were held at by the Dragonkins, the imperial soldiers were helping them out, I sighed with relief. As soon as I smiled, I got attacked once again. I was sent back flying towards a wall of an building.
"Tsk!" The impact made me spill out blood from my mouth, I held my mouth and my core at the same time.
"What was that fo-" before even I got to ask a question, the imperial guard who attacked me said
"You disgusting piece of scum! How dare you lay you dirty hands on the princess?" I saw hatred in his eyes.
"No wait! It's a misunderstanding, I was savi-" and yet again, before I could finished, he threw a sword at me, slicing my arm off.
Shit, this is bad. One wrong move and I'm dead. He looks like the commander. He's at least a gold core formation. Even if I was at full power I would lose... What do I do... No wait! I can't regrow my arm! It'd be bad if they think I'm a threat now!
I used my last bit of energy I had to restrict the passive regeneration I had temporarily. My consciousness was slowly fading away.
I fell to the ground. I was about to faint now, but I wanted to hear what they say.
"Sir, should we take him as a prisoner?" A imperial soldier asked, the commander was far away so I couldn't hear what he said, as one of them picked me up, I figured he said yes. My consciousness was finally gone.
While I was unconscious the imperial soldiers rested and had a conversation before heading back to the imperial palace. I was tied down even if I was unconscious.
Xue was in a carriage getting treated by some physicians of the palace.
"Man, that b*tch of a princess, did you really had to go that hard on the dude? We would've tried to do the same with her if we were there. She's just a pawn for the real queen to rise after all..." An imperial soldier said to the commander.
"Shut it, we have to show her our utmost respect when outside of the palace, if not we'll be bringing down our palace's and the emperor's prestige." The commander replied with a domineering voice.
"Yeah, but it's not like anyone is here now either way." Another soldier replied.
Everyone at the imperial palace were corrupted scumbags.
