After the bright light went away, Johnny looked around the room for a second, before looking at Pope Adam.
"So, did it work? Or did something happen, because I don't feel any different."
As Johnny is looking at Pope Adam, Pope Adam is not paying any attention to Johnny and is making a weird look on his face.
"Oh, dear god."
"What do you mean, by. DEAR GOD. WHAT THE HELL!"
Johnny looks over to his right and sees Alex screaming in pain as his eyes have been burnt out of their socket. As a bright light starts to come out of where his eyes were.
"AAAAAAAAH!"
"Holy Jesus. You should do something. You christian guy."
Pope Adam quickly holds up two fingers and casts a spell on Alex's eyes.
"Holy light of Healing."
After casting the spell, Alex's eyes start to heal back to normal, but after they do, they start to burn away again.
"How is this possible? What kind of power did he wish for?"
Johnny looks back at Pope Adam.
"Wait a second."
"I don't have time to wait, your friend is in a lot of pain right now."
"Yeah, he can wait a minute. My question is more important than he is."
"How can that be? He might die."
"He will be fine. But you said something about his power doing that to him right?"
Pope Adam looks at Johnny with a confused and a slightly concerned look on his face.
"That is correct."
"AAAAAAAAAH!"
"Oh good, good."
Johnny starts to make a weird and creepy smile on his face as he pulls his hands together and starts to look around like someone is watching him.
Pope Adam continues to try to heal Alex's eyes but no luck as Johnny steps forward.
"Let me try and see what I can do."
"I don't know about that. Do you know how to use holy magic?"
Johnny looks at Pope Adam with a serious face.
"Hell no. If anything, I know how to use Demonic Magic. Hehe."
"AAAAAAAAAH!"
Johnny rubs his chin with his eyebrows raised.
"I am curious though."
Johnny puts his hand over Alex's glowing eyes before moving his hand back with a disappointed look on his face.
"Man, it is not hot. I can't make popcorn from his eyes."
"What is popcorn?"
Johnny looks back at Pope Adam with a serious face.
"What do you mean, what is popcorn? Do you not have popcorn in the world?"
"No, we don't have that in this world, but we do have corn in this world."
Johnny looks up at the ceiling before rubbing his chin.
"Good, good."
Johnny turns back at Alex and looks at him for a good second before looking back at Pope Adam.
"So how do I use my powers again?"
Pope Adam looked at Johnny with a confused look on his face.
"I don't know young hero. Maybe try and feel it within you."
"Okay, I guess I will give it a try."
Johnny spreads his feet wide and gets in a weird fighting stance, like he is taking a shit in the woods, with his arms out wide like he is a bird trying to fly for the first time, before moving his left hand in front of himself and holding up two fingers.
"Woooooo. Ouch. What was that? Did you poke me, christian man?"
"My name is Pope Adam, and no I didn't poke you."
"Then who did?"
"Who do you think did? You idiot."
Johnny and Pope Adam turn and see Austin standing behind them facing the opposite direction from them holding a long all black sword in his hand.
Pope Adam looks very closely at Austin before he starts to think.
("How did you get there so quickly? I don't remember seeing him move and second ago, but the same time I was not paying attention.")
Austin looks back over his left shoulder at Alex and sees what is happening to him.
"AAAAAAAAAH!"
"That makes more sense now. Hey Pope?"
Austin turns around and looks at Pope Adam.
"Yes, young Hero."
"Go to your office and grab the holy bandages out of your desk. They should work on his eyes, but make sure you use all 3 of them."
Pope Adam looks at Austin with a confused look on his face.
("How did he know about the holy bandages?") "How do you know that the bandages, and would they even work on your friend?"
Austin looks forward again.
"Because I just got a hunch. That is all."
"A hunch you say." ("How interesting. He seems to be calmer and levelheaded, and on top of that his aura is different, like he has two instead of one.")
Austin turns and side eyes Johnny before speaking.
"And Johnny. Try not to over think it too much. I might make your brain explode if you do."
Johnny looks confused about what Austin means by overthinking it.
"What do you mean by that? Can you be clearer please."
"I was clear enough."
Austin turns around and takes a couple steps to the door to the church.
"I hope you're fully aware that your friend might not be able to see again."
"I would not worry too much about him, Pope, just get him the 3 holy bandages and he will be fine. Other than that, you said something about a library being in the church?"
"Yes, that is correct."
"Is there one in the Kingdom too?"
"Yes, there is."
"Good to know."
Johnny runs over to Austin to ask him a question.
"Hey how did you use your power…"
Before Johnny could get to Austin, Austin teleported to the library in the Kingdom that is in the castle.
"Now where did he go?"
Pope Adam starts to walk to his office to get the 3 holy bandages from his desk. As he starts to think about Austin's new power.
("He knew about the 3 holy bandages in my office, so does he have True Seeing Eye, but that would not work because of that sword that he had. Then he stabbed his friend right before we noticed him. So does he have a power that allows him to move quickly, like Quick Step. But then he just teleported right in front of us. So that must mean he has the power to Teleportation, but at a fast rate. And for the sword, he must have teleported to a shop and taken it before the shop keeper could see him and teleported back and stabbed his friend, and during the time he took the sword and stabbed his friend, he had to sneak into my office and find the 3 holy bandages in my desk… Yes, that must be it. That is the only thing that makes any sense on how he knew things that he couldn't see and could move fast enough where we couldn't see him move.")
Pope Adam walks into his office to grab the 3 holy bandages, but when he looks at his desk, he notices that the magic lock on his desk has not been opened yet.
Pope Adam looked around the room for a second before thinking.
("This makes no sense. He knew about the 3 bandages, but he didn't open the desk. Now that I think about it, did he even enter this room? There is too much that I don't know, so it is best to worry about it later.")
Pope Adam opens the desk door and grabs the 3 bandages from his desk and walks out of the room.
As Pope Adam closes his office door behind him, he sees all the seats in the church are now turned into cows. After seeing this Pope Adam's widened with disbelief.
"What is god's name is going on here?"
Pope Adam looks around for a second before looking up and sees Johnny floating in the air with a big smile on his face.
"Young hero, can you hear me? Why are there cows in the church?"
("Did that other hero do this? No, that is impossible, all the heroes that get summoned to this world can only have one power.")
"AAAAAAAAAH!"
Pope Adam turns and looks at Alex as he screams louder than before, as the pain gets worse, as glowing gold lines start to form on his face leading up to the bright glow from his eye socket.
("Right, I can't lose focus, I need to save this boy's life. Everything else will be taken care of later. I put my faith into god.")
Pope Adam quickly starts to place the bandages onto Alex's eyes. Then wraps a blindfold around his head to keep the bandages from falling off.
After adding the bandages and blindfold, all the marks on Alex's face start to go away at a fast rate.
"That should do, but just for your safety. I will place a blessing on this blindfold."
Pope Adam holds his hand over the blindfold on Alex's eyes and casts a holy spell.
"Oh, dear father above us hear my words. I ask you to bless this object with your protection and watch over it as time goes on. I ask this of you."
A magic circle is created over the blindfold before disappearing making the blindfold glow for a second.
After the glow goes away, Alex falls over on his side and passes out from the pain.
("I guess it will get him a blanket for the time being.")
Pope Adam stands up and looks up over his shoulder at Johnny.
("Now, what did I do with this one?")
Before looking back down and seeing the cows still standing in the church.
("And I almost forgot about the cows too. Looks like my hands will be full for the next couple of hours.")
Pope Adam gives a little smile before looking up at Johnny again.
"Young Hero."
Johnny glances down at Pope Adam for a mere second.
"Once you have finished having your fun with your new awakened power, we should have a talk about what the next steps you need to take."
"The next steps you say?"
Johnny covers his eyes with his hand, before looking up at the ceiling with a giant smile on his face.
"My dear christian man. You have much to learn. There is no need to talk about anything."
Pope Adam continues to look at Johnny as Johnny starts to glow and have light shine on to him, like it is coming from the heavens.
"As I am the god that you have been praying to every day and night, I can hear your voices. And now I am here to answer all your prayers at once."
("What does he mean by he's, our god? Wait, does that mean? No, that is impossible. We don't have the power to even summon a god, let alone as a hero to this world. But at the same time, a god can lower their power to become eligible to be summoned, but their aura would be seen by me or by King Harold so that can't be it. That can only mean one thing.")
Pope Adam looks at Johnny with shock in his eyes as he speaks in his mind again.
("This man no, this god is so weak that he was taken to be a near weak human this whole time. How did we overlook his true power like this?")
Johnny glances back down at Pope Adam.
"Would you like to know how I am going to answer your prayers all at once?"
"Yes, I am curious, on how you plan to achieve such a feat."
"It's very simple and can be achieved in no time."
Johnny opens his arms out wide and looks down at the Pope Adam then starts to laugh.
"HAHAHA"
"The first thing I will do is turn all the people that looked at me with disgust into animals like they are. Then I will take all the knowledge from the smart ones making them more stupid in the head. Then for everyone else, I will make them into my slaves or into my experiments. Yes, that would be nice too."
"Do what? You can't make the people of this kingdom your slaves. That is wrong to do, even for a god. And experiments, are you mad."
"Why yes I am mad. Have you not been listening this whole time?"
("What kind of power allows him to make others serve him and give him the power to float like that.")
Johnny does a little dance before turning back and looking at Pope Adam.
"Oh, yeah don't worry christian man, I will make sure to ask everyone if they want to become my slave first."
"I still don't think that is right for the people. Everyone should live with their freedom, not to be enslaved or being tested on like a monster."
"I mean, they will be free, as my slaves. And if they do turn me down then I am going to make them believe that they are my slaves anyways. And for the experiment. I will start with the brain dead ones first, then move onto strong ones. I don't play with the weak, only the strong."
Pope Adam looks at Johnny with fear in his eyes, before falling to his knees.
"But why?"
"Because why not."
"HEHE!"
Johnny then snaps his fingers and disappears.
Pope Adam looked around for a second before thinking.
("Where did he go? I don't see him anywhere and same for the other one that left early.")
Pope Adam stands up from his knees and starts to head to the front door to the church.
("I must warn the guard before he goes on his rampage.")
Pope Adam looks back at Alex for a second.
("I believe that one will be fine, but if I don't stop the other one first. Then all three of them will be executed.")
As Pope Adam opens the door to the church and looks at the two guards at the front door, Pope Adam remembers what Johnny said before disappearing in the church.
("Wait, he said something about turning the ones that treated him like a peasant, into animals. And that means.")
Pope Adam quickly realized that King Harold was one of the people that called Johnny peasant.
"You two you must hurry."
Both the guards look at Pope Adam with confusion on their faces.
"What is going on Pope Adam?"
"Please do explain."
"Is someone hurt in the church?"
"Did something happen to the heroes?"
"That is enough now. Listen very carefully now."
Pope Adam takes a breath before speaking to the two guards.
"One of the heroes is going after King Harold, we must hurry."
