"Ed! Ed!" everyone shouted after her.
"Leave me alone!" she shouted. She ran and ran and stopped when she arrived near the big fig tree which she and Valenthia used to climb. She sat under it and sighed.
Falling in front of everyone was embarrassing. And then Lorelei started screaming which made the matter worse. Why Aaron was still being kind to her and rude to Lorelei? And what did he mean that he never said yes to marrying her? What was that about?
"Did you look at her? How was she running, like a monkey? And I really can't understand her dress. What is she wearing?" laughed Etienne.
"Yeah, what's up with that dress? There is no lace, no beads, what is she wearing? Just simple fabric cinched at the waist. He is looking like a skeleton," noted Kynthia. Her bitterness was showing.
