Aaron closed his eyes in pain as he could hear Edwina crying in her room. He knew that she was crying but didn't know the real reason. He thought it was because of the bullying and Lorelei's pushing her into the water. But she was crying because she missed Aaron, even though she didn't like him. He broke her heart, yet her heart was with him.
He could hear her fiddling with her suitcase. He, too, was wet, so he opened his wardrobe and took out a clean pair of clothes. He changed his clothes, came out of his room, and saw that Edwina's door was still closed. He wanted to wait for her, that way he would get to talk to her again. Even though she would snap at him, at least she would talk to him.
