"Penn! Grab on!" Nathan yelled from somewhere behind the falling Guide.
"To what?" Penn yelled back, watching the rock wall speed past in a blur as he continued to freefall. He struggled to reach out as the wind whirred past him. No matter how hard he stretched out, he couldn't reach the descending cliff face.
"Me! Grab onto me!" Nathan's rushed voice approached from behind. Penn twisted his head to see Nathan using his Force to make platforms. But instead of using them to stop himself from falling, he was using them to propel himself faster, downward toward Penn.
Not even bothering to argue, Penn held his arms wide open. With the force of gravity crushing down on them, Nathan crashed into Penn's embrace. They tumbled in the air, bodies twisting and turning in a tailspin. The Guide's arms wrapped around the Esper's back, clinging for dear life. He had skydiving training - but not without a parachute.
