Penn grunted as he lifted the crystal item he had worked on. Honestly, he wasn't even sure if it was going to work - but with the crystal wanting to move in his favor, it was worth a shot. Or multiple shots, using his skills to increase accuracy and damage.
That would at least make up for the crap job Penn did in making it. He wasn't a weapon smith, so no one should blame him for it - not that anyone would be able to witness his craftsmanship anyway.
"A little rain never hurt anyone," Penn mumbled to himself, pointing the device toward the head of the basilisk. "He's an S-ranked Hunter. He'll be fine… probably…"
