Hugo greeted us with grace and warmth as he led us to the sitting room. "Please, call me Hugo," he insisted, his voice soft yet authoritative.
Once we settled in, he immediately turned his attention to me, showing a genuine interest in my acting career. "So, Vanessa, Richard tells me you're quite the actress. How is your career going?" he asked.
"It's going well, thank you. I'm currently shooting a TV miniseries, which I'm really excited about," I replied, trying to mask my surprise at how attentive he was.
Hugo nodded approvingly. "That's wonderful. You must be very talented. I've seen you quite a bit in the news lately. In fact, I came across a video of you last night where a paparazzo was harassing you."
My jaw nearly dropped. I hadn't realized that my encounter with that rude paparazzo had gone viral. Richard looked at me, surprised, clearly unaware of the incident.
