"By using the third ring, I can stop the residual flux, thereby not losing any mana and circulating it back into the spell," Daniela replies with a troubled expression.
That's interesting? I've never heard of such a theory? Professor Rurin scanned her code, the shimmering circle atop her hand.
"And if I add another ring like this," Daniela concentrates and a fourth circle appears in between the second and third rings, "I'm able to enforce a rule, but without having to create a separate code."
"Elaborate," Professor Rurin shot her a discerning look.
Daniela sighs before replying, clearly exhausted by the rain of questions, "By adding a rule, I can manipulate the output without having to specifically create a second code."
"If I were to follow the normal method, I'd have to add a different code to control the output, but that would end up limiting the function's efficiency."
"Alternating between codes aren't as hard as you make them out to be, if you can add the modifier, avoiding the mana bleed isn't difficult."
"A fourth circle uses the reflux as a source for an accumulator all while being a better safety buffer than a line," Daniela returns, annoyed by the constant questions.
Professor Rurin grins, "Hm, fine, I'll agree with your theory, if you can show me an applied version."
"Right here?" Daniela raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, is that going to be a problem?"
"No, not at all."
I could do this without a source code, back at the duel when I made the smoke and moved it as I willed, but I guess this can fine tune the results a bit more.
The outer ring turns orange while the first and third rings turn blue, the second ring remaining white. A bright blue light shines, blinding everyone in the whole classroom.
Woah, that was amazing, when did she get so good? Houdin watched in awe.
"When applying Pyro to the outer ring while turning the central ring to Aqua, the discharge is the Aqua ring making use of the Pyro's light to create a blinding flash, but if I try this..."
Daniela continued as Professor Rurin continued observing her actions.
The outer ring turns blue and the two blue rings change to orange. "It reverses the earlier code, the discharge result varies, resulting in a white smoke, but the main function of this white smoke is I can control it how I want."
As Daniela finished her explanation, the smoke formed a thought silhouette of Professor Rurin, the white smoke maintaining figure before vanishing.
"That's it, sir."
"That was quite the interesting view you had there, very well I'll give it to you, but now let's move onto the class, shall we?"

Finn rushed back as the creature rushed towards him, its claws threatening to end him, each of its strike focusing on striking a vital part.
Finn pulls out his gun and fires a single, aiming to take out the beast in a single strike, rather than prolonging the battle.
The bullet pierced through the skull killing the creature instantly as its corpse fell to the floor.
"It seems you can kill a G-Rank beast without much trouble, and it's good that you didn't use your sword," Victor who was leaning on a tree said.
Finn looked down at the corpse of the dead beast. It was a rat, a Girat. It was called so for its large size compared to normal rats. These were mutants that formed due to the influence of eonweave.
"We can go deeper in," Victor walks into the dark forest. Finn slowly follows behind him.
What is this mission even about? Finn thought as he looked at the mission information displayed in front of him.
MISSION ALERT
TALK TO VICTOR AMBRON
ACCEPT/REJECT
"I'll teach you a basic flow method, only use this from now on."
Finn nodded in agreement, curious to what he was about to learn, as they walked through the dark forest. The grounds were littered with dry leaves.
Victor stops under a tree, the area seemingly peaceful, "Alright, turn around."
"What, sir? Is that why we came here?" Finn cheeks flushed red.
"You brat!" Victor fumed in mock anger, "is this how you talk to your professor?"
"But I wasn't thinking of anything lewd, huh," Finn gasps dramatically, his eyes widened, "is that what you thought I meant professor?"
"Brat, just turn around unless you don't want a hole in your chest," Victor replied, annoyed at the shots on him.
"I'm sorry," Finn apologizes with a chuckle.
Victor puts his hand on Finn's back and focuses on Finn internally, scanning through his body.
What is with this build, all of his meridians have been opened and there are three cores? That's strange, each core has its own function, this is genius, Victor's eyes bulged at the spectacle of each meridian working in unison, while the three cores pulsated with different energies.
"Where did you get this— No, I don't want to know, but the build is pretty good, I think you'll be able to use most of the control techniques."
"What type of technique am I learning, sir?"
"It can be considered a normal flow technique, but it's efficiency lies in perfection. The technique will allow you to concentrate your power onto a single shot. Follow the pathways I guide you through," Victor places his hands on his back.
Finn could feel a faint energy enter him making its way to his core. The energy moves up to his forehead before connecting back to the spine and branching off at the solar plexus. Finn follows the faint energy with qi from his third core to his second core, the cold mana travelling up the path along with his qi.
This technique, it's strange, the old man's technique was based on focused strikes allowing the mana to flow to specific parts based on the area that was about to release the output, but this one is the opposite, letting me make use of multiple points for a balanced output.
The mana continued towards the strikeflow point begining from his shoulder all the way to his fingertips. The rest of the energy went down from his spine all the way down to his feet connecting his entire body to one power source, his core in the Dan Tian.
"That's the flow, the pathway isn't difficult, but the technique will grow. The well maintained flow without having to alternate between multiple breathings."
"Now let's go hunting," Victor walks into the deep forest.
"Already?" Finn follows behind.
"Aren't you eager to check out your new skill?"
...
"No using your threads or any of your original arts, use only the method I taught you," Victor leaned back in a tree watching Finn who was surrounded by three wolves.
The three brown furred wolves circled Finn, saliva drooling over while bathing its fangs against him. The wolves were slightly bigger than a Girat but had much longer limbs and a skinny body.
Niwolves, these things were trouble for me, and if it were me from the past, I would have already become a meal for it, Finn thought while holding his gun.
The wolves let out a low growl as their gaze met with his, preparing to strike down the sole prey. Their instincts told them they could win, but before the wolves could react Finn lunged at the Niwolf at the centre.
The creature surprised, pulls back but Finn stops midway and holds out his gun, pulling the trigger. A bullet shoots out striking the wolf right in between its eyes, ending its life instantly.
The other two pulls back intimidated by the sudden loss of their packmate, as they observe his movements, preparing for an assault.
He's definitely quick, he instantly grasped my technique and is trying to make it his own. Victor sighed, while staying under the tree's shadow, He is also pretty smart, considering he killed a Niwolf by catching it off guard.
Not using the threads isn't much of an issue, but they sure were handy, I guess I'll try the blade, his hands pulled out the slick katana, holding the blade on his right hand, while the gun was in his left.
The second wolf leaps at him, raising its claw to strike down Finn, but he jumps backwards, barely missing the strike. Finn aims the gun at the wolf but is interrupted by the other one heading for him.
They're coming at me from both sides? Finn smirks, swinging the sword at the wolf rushing at him. The creature opens its maw and catches the sword, stopping it on the path.
Finn lets go of his blade and rushes forward towards the other wolf and raises his knee, connecting a kick to its head, sending the wolf back, the creature wailing lightly.
But Finn doesn't stop, he rushes towards the Niwolf holding his katana. He shoots the wolf on its leg. The bullet tears through the skin and bone, blood gushing out.
The wolf lets the katana fall off its mouth. Finn sensing the opening grabs the katana and pours his mana into the sword, slicing through the creature's head from its mouth. The heads half fall on the floor as blood poured out of it.
Finn once again rushes back towards the wolf without stopping. He rushes forward, but to his surprise the wolf was prepared to fight without running off even after seeing two of its fellow wolves taken out.
The claws and fangs extend out shining white. The creature rushes forwards its speed increasing, but Finn moves his blade up and brings it down for a strong slash interrupting the wolf's assault.
Finn shoots at the wolf, but his bullet misses, striking the side of its mouth, cracking the teeth and tearing off the flesh on its side.
Finn sensing yet another opening shoots with the intent to finish the creature. Finn pulls on the trigger, and a single bullet pushes forwards striking it on its right eye socket, killing the final one.
HUFF HUFF
"How was it sir?" Finn proudly looked at his professor, exhaustion evident in his voice.
"That was good, but it seems you have a few more visitors," Victor pointed at another pack of wolves who were watching the battle from a distance, with one wolf in the middle standing out with its white fur.
"Ah," Finn laughs, walking towards the pack, "twice the fun for me."
"Crazy kid," Victor grins with a glint of pride.
