Opening my eyes, the first thing I beheld was my wife's face. So serene and tempting.
And as if sensing my gaze on her, she opened hers and found mine in an instant.
"Good morning Arle."
"Good morning Cliff," she greeted grumpily while stretching her body to get rid of the sleep.
Once she was done, she embraced me and planted loving kisses on my face before laughing and saying, "I should really brush my teeth."
Chuckling, I held her tightly so she wouldn't leave me and she kept laughing while pleading with me to let go but how could I?
"You should already know that things like this don't bother me." I whispered into her ear and she giggled.
Facing me, she cupped my face and said, "Guess what today is?"
"Court day," I cheerfully said and she grinned in excitement.
