Walking up to him, I stood two steps from him and grinned widely.
All the while, he just kept staring at me while standing at the same spot.
"How do I look?" I asked eagerly while taking note of the way his damp hair fell in front of his face. Did he do something to make it more shiny and curly?
"The same but something seems to be off," he truthfully told me and I arched my eyebrows in curiosity.
"You hardly wear purple." He pointed out.
"Well, it's time for me to step into a new era."
"Beverley," he blocked my way when I was about to move forward. I slowly looked at him and arched an eyebrow again but instead of moving aside, he frowned at me and said.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm heading to my office of course."
"That's not what I meant. You're taking things too far." He firmly said but in a worried tone.
