Chapter 3 - See me

After listening this young woman talking excitedly about her day nonstop about twelve minutes now, Trevor lost his focus a long time ago and actually just turned a deaf ear to save himself from more. While he was leaning his arms on the island, watching tiredly this stupid model show which was running in TV, woman was still talking.

Trevor usually was very thoughtful and nice toward others, showing his best sides to make his company feel comfortable, both at his work and private life. But this one doesn't need his focus really. She was here only to fill her own needs. Anyone else would have taken a hint to not come in and just leave after Trevor announced clearly at the door that he had just finished his nine-day work streak, three of them being early morning shifts, and only he needed right now was just rest a while.

But no. This young woman was Trevors most irritating pain in the ass in his whole social life. The one he couldn't do a thing about. Should Trevor just continue ignoring her and just go sleep? That might work..

"Tro, your phone is ringing," young woman reports in the middle of her story and moves the vibrating phone closer to her brother here.

Trevor moves his hand, finds the phone and turns lazily look at it. Unknown number. What ever, anything was better than listening to his younger sister here. So he answers. "Trevor speaking.."

"Hi, Trevor Lewis? This is Milo Raahinen from the crime investigation department. I was wondering if you have time to discuss about the matter we spoke the last time we met," Milo boldly says while using very polite way to speak. Trying to hold his smile. Finally he changes his tone back to normal. "Are you at home?"

Now if something could wake Trevor up this suddenly, then this guys voice. The warm wave went through him. Making him instantly happy. "What, did I know someone like you? Are you that foreteller?" Trevos answers, now actually wearing a smile on his face. Damn, hearing that sexy voice felt quite good indeed. "Yeah, I'm at home."

"You busy today?"

"Not really, but.."

The moment Trevor answers, someone was ringing his door bell. Immediately both siblings turn their eyes toward the hall area behind the kitchen wall.

"That can't be you, right..?" Trevor asks while getting fastly up and walking toward the entry area, opening the first door, then stepping closer the main one.

When he finally opens that last door, he could see Milo standing there, smiling, still holding his phone on his ear. "Good day," was what younger man says next, ending the phone call. Trevor was surely looking quite surprised, holding his own phone on his hand.

But then olders look changes a little. "Your timing is just perfect," he tsihs and walks fastly back inner the apartment, leaving Milo quite confused from this sudden act. But that look was cute, so Milo let it slide. Wondering was it okay to go in.

Before he could do a thing, a young woman peeks behind the wall, curiously eyeing who has arrived. "You have a guest?" she asks then from Trevor who was already coming back, walking past her.

Trevor puts his shoes on. "I'm going out," he simple states calmly to the young woman before turning his eyes back on Milo, who by now was feeling even more confused. "Let's go. Your place?" Older takes his jacket and is ready to move.

"Wow, you had a cute girl over..?" Milo wows, then has to move his eyes and take a step back when Trevor pushs him a little.

"You are going out? This suddenly? When you are coming back?" woman rushs to ask just before Trevor was about to close the door.

"No idea," a final glance back in and Trevor was done. He takes a hold of Milos arm to make him turn and walk with him. "Did you come with a car?"

"I did," Milo smiles, being very amused at the moment. "You sure it's okay to leave her there? She was cute."

"You ever touch her I will make sure you will never get an erection again," Trevor glances him angrily before starting to walk the stairs down.

Milo smirks. He definitely believed that. "I so missed that sweet side of yours," he laughs. "By the looks of her, she is your younger sister."

"Correct," older sighs, feeling both very annoyed and damn relieved. He has successfully escaped. "She suddenly drop by when I the least wanted to see anyone. I had a long work streat just now and having to listen to her hype mode is just damn too much. She lives far, so she is not leaving soon.."

"But you didn't mind seeing me? I'm not just anyone?" Milo smiles, feeling damn good after hearing that confession. Teasing.

Trevor stops his steps and looks behind him, searching Milos eyes. Thinking how to clear this without saying too much. "Between you two, you are just a little less annoying," he smiles, finally showing his normal calm mood. "You are a damn good tool for the stress relieve too."

Milo snorts. Sure. Wasn't that the very reason why they even meet up.

And it became very clear to Milo how tired Trevor actually was overall. Right after their passionate two rounds together, this guy simple passes out.

Milo made his best to be as quiet as possible, letting Trevor take his rest. TV was now on, Milo sitting on the floor, leaning his back to the couchbed behind him. But instead of focusing on the TV screen, Milo rather chose to eye the man on the bed, feeling quite envious how this one could just fall asleep that easily when Milo has huge problems to reach that state. But all in all he also define this as being lucky. He could once again watch this guys handsome sleeping face.

Finally, after almost three hours of sleep, Trevor has woken up. He was keeping his eyes just slightly open, eyeing the other guys back while he was sitting on the floor, writing something with his laptop. Milo has tied his bangs up, looking quite serious while he was on it. Damn, that brat could look handsome..

A touch on his neck made Milo instantly move his eyes on Trevor. Now that the older guy get others attention, he moves his leg back under the blanket. Milo sighs. "Good morning," he smiles and moves his laptop away, sitting up on the bed. It wasn't actually morning, but an early evening.

"What time is it?" Trevor mumbles tiredly, closing his eyes again. He so could keep sleeping still.

"Almost seven..," younger calls. "If you want, you can stay the night. I will order us something to eat."

"I am staying the night..," older just states bluntly, moving on his back, wiping his eye. There was no way he would go back home just yet. Not when he was already in Milos apartment. "Were you working just now?"

"Something like that. Then what do you want to eat?" Milo moves his eyes away and takes his phone. "And don't make me guess."

Trevor smirks and pushs slowly his body up, leaning his hand toward Milo, taking a hold of his shoulder and pulling the guy down with him. Instead of saying anything, Trevor just pulls Milos face closer, lustfully kissing his lips.

Milos pleasing mode was instantly on. Answering that kiss he drops his phone and takes Trevor in his embrace. "What? You wanna do it?"

"Does this look like I just want to cuddle?" other whispers back, touching Milos front.

No, that definitely doesn't.

"No doubt you live alone," Trevor wonders out loud when he walks back from the shower, eyeing curiously every part of this small apartment.

Milo was already standing in the middle of the living area, drinking some water from the bottle. He immediately turns to look at the man behind him, showing a smile. Trevor was only wearing a towel, so some red marks around his body could be seen. There even was one on his neck area where it could be seen even while wearing a shirt. But that didn't seem to bother the man at all. He kind of ignores Milo too now while suddenly starting his visible snooping, opening the first closet next to him.

Milo snorts. "What are you doing?"

"How it looks like I'm doing? I'm figuring out things about you," Trevor shows a smile back and keeps doing his check out, now eyeing the couch bed which Milo had already made. It was clear that living area was his main sleeping room, not the second room what Trevor assume there was. Since this looked like a two-room apartment.

"I was polite enough to not snoop your home," younger tsihs smiling. Not that he really mind, though. Indeed this guy could act quite unpredictable ways, even when he was eminently straight too. And by now, Milo has learnt not to make a buzz about these small things Trevor did. Man was smart enough to know his own limits, when Milo has just taken advance of his work place and crossed the line while finding infos about Trevor. And get caught. If Milo would do something like that again, there would be mocking back. When Trevor gets on his high horse there is not much to do but go along with it. Cause man has kind of earned to act so, being the more trustworthy here.

"Who said you can't," Trevor calmly points out while opening the fridge. "If we don't get to know each other, what we are going to talk about outside this animal act. Weather?"

Usually Milo has kept this precise line to not know about his casual lovers too much. And not let them know about him. If the other try to get too close with him, their deal would be better to cut off. Feelings were what could ruin this whole thing. Milo couldn't see himself in serious relationship. Ever.

Well, that has happened only with women. Men were more direct and mostly thinking with their lower body. And so far Trevor has definitely been just that. Although, overall, what ever this was between them was kind of special in Milos life. This one fit just perfectly to fill what Milo wanted. A little too well, maybe. And it definitely was a mutual interest. Thinking who this one was, already knowing things about Milo man usually kept for himself, like his job, sharing a little more shouldn't be a problem. Trevor was indeed right. If they plan to sleep each others places, there needs to be talking.

"Suit yourself," Milo smirks and willingly gives up. "What you want to eat?"

"Have you eaten unhealthy again this whole week?" Trevor asks back, turning his wondering eyes on Milo. Now he had though there definitely were some changes on Milo, like not looking so tired, but instead quite fresh. The wounds have healed so well too. Even with a lack of sleep he looked very energy. First he though Milo has really took a hint and start eating properly. But if guy was eating just fast food, that definitely wasn't the case.

Milo clears his throat. "After someone, AND my boss, kindly recommended to take my health as my main priority, I may have done some changes. Trying, at least," he quietly admits, not knowing where to look. This was kind of embarrassing, from the man of his age. "If I didn't you would not give me massages again, right? I haven't slept that well since then, so I know there was something behind that. I would do anything to get that back."

Milo value his words? Now that answer Trevor was happy to hear. His look went more relaxed and smilingly he closes the fridge. "Just so you know you are not having shit like fast food when I'm around," man gives his point out while continuing his exploration.

Talk about déjà vu. This familiar sounding soft ringing was what woke Trevor up from his deep dream. The guy who was sleeping next to him moves a little. Instinctively, like from deep down learned habit his hand reachs toward the phone.

When Milo could open his eyes more, the name on the screen made his whole mind charged. This man calling him was the best thing he could get while working in this field. The excitement filled him. His work mode was on. Fastly, he sits up and answers. "Yes?"

"We have a manhunt. A runner, attempted murder. They lost sight of the suspect about ten minutes ago. Are you in?" Don asks straight.

Now this was Milos speciality. Hunting his cases down. "Yes, sir. Hit me," he states, asking more information. While opening his laptop he fastly glances toward Trevor. And of course guy was awake and looking back at him. Luckily Milo was with someone who knew about his job, kind of, so he didn't need to colour things here. But he really doubt if it was okay to talk about a case in front of a civilian.

Milo connects his earbud and changes to wireless mode, leaving his phone on the table while getting up to change. At the meantime, the app Milo has just opened with his laptop starts to load information windows on the screen. There were photos. A map location. Suspects identification..

Trevor was definitely sure he wasn't supposed to see something like that, so he simple moves his eyes away, back to Milo who was talking with someone while searching his formal wears.

"No. If they have already sealed the area, I'm all you need in," Milo clears surely, eyeing what was reading on the screen of his laptop. "I know the guy."

It wasn't just the way how Milo spoke or how serious he suddenly looked. But his whole appearance has changed, wearing the same vibe what Trevor first time saw him with. This was hardly trained state of mind. Ready to do his job no matter what. Give his all, prepare for all. And even when this all made Milo look damn cool in Trevors eyes, seeing him like this also made Trevor feel uneasy.

This feeling he knew. Fear for someone else. The dangers out there weren't any different what he himself could face anytime in his own field. You needed to be strong and fearless, otherwise you would fall down yourself. Couldn't deal it. But how it could make people close to you feel was a whole other story. That Trevor knew very well. Has learnt it the hard way.

"Sure. I'm off," younger man ends the call from his earbud and heads to the kitchen area, searching one of the lowest drawer, pulling this small black case out. Then he goes back, puts the case on the small table and sits down on the bed. "Good morning..," younger says, without looking Trevor even once. His eyes went through the info while hands open the case, pulling the gun parts out him to put the pieces together.

Realizing there was an actual gun, Trevor was immediately up, boldly leaning on Milos shoulder while eyeing what younger man was doing. He remain silent, but didn't hide his curiosity.

Milo glances him once, showing a smile. Now this wasn't a reaction Milo was waiting. Most of the people were scared of seeing a gun. Even a small one as this type was. But he guess you could assume a paramedic being more experienced to not be too timid. Some of them even had a training under. "I can't guarantee am I back till the morning. So just take your rest and leave when ever."

Trevor hums back, smiling. This guy wasn't going to kick him out? What a relieve, his body felt damn tired still.

After getting the pieces together and suring it was working by one test shot with empty box, Milo loads it full. Not that he would use it today, but it was one of the things to have ready when going in. "It's better you forget what you just saw," he adds while closing his laptop, taking his phone and getting up. "Don't touch my laptop."

"Yes, sir," Trevor snorts. You couldn't unsee that sexiness what a man with a strong self-confidence could create around himself.

Milo ignores his teasing, wearing next his vest and a gun belt. After adding one more layer on him with this black hoodie and wearing his sneakers and his smart watch, he was ready to go. "I'm off," he calls, already about to rush out.

"You forgot something," Trevor says back, making Milo stop his steps and look back at him. Older guy moves the blanket and gets up, stepping closer, searching Milos lips. Landing this soft kiss on them. This was how they were supposed to apart. Leave this one last touch so they wouldn't forget what they were missing while walking off their different ways.

This sweet taste could shatter Milos concentration to pieces. When he answers to that kiss, his lust takes a hold of him. And he moves them both to fall down on the bed, passionately sharing this kiss what felt like the most satisfying thing ever. It just kept going. And going.

Until Milo needed to stop. With closed eyes he leans his head on Trevors chest, trying to calm down. While taking a hold of his breathing.

This was bad..

"Just go already..," Trevors voice speaks then quietly.

Milo searchs his arm and squeezes it hard. Then finally he releases his touch, pushs himself up. Eyes locked on Trevors. "I'm off..," he just states back whispering. And leaves.

The sound of a door opening and closing. Then the silence. Trevor couldn't do but stare the ceiling, feeling his heart beating strongly, waiting it to calm down. Then it hits. The anger. Frustration. He wanted to yell, break this place in pieces and just leave and never come back. This was hard. Damn fucking hard to keep his feelings in control. They have one rule; keep it clear. They both knew what this was supposed to be.

Still, Trevor couldn't help it. Everytime this same thing happens, everytime he could feel it stronger. He can't play with those rules. He wants out.

Totally out from that guy..
