When Milo next time opens his eyes, it was already morning. The rays from the halfly closed window blinds slightly light the room. The slim but muscular body he was leaning against was so warm they have no use for blanket the rest of the night. Milo wasn't even so sure when he actually fell asleep again, but once again he has slept long.
Letting out a deep breathe, Milo stretchs his numb arm, making the guy next to him totally wake up from his half sleep mode. Trevor has been awake a while now, but couldn't dare to move to not wake Milo up. Young man was sleeping so soundly it would have been a waste to break that. Besides.. him using Trevor as a pillow the whole night was very unexpected, so older guy wanted to savor this very moment.
But now when guy was awake, Tervor has to take action. He's been patiently waited his opportunite to come. "If you are awake, please, release my arm so I can take a leak..," he mumbles while moving Milo on his back, rolling over him to jump slowly out of the bed. He heads straight toward the restroom.
Milo snorts and lows his head back down, taking even comfy position. "If you were in such a rush you could have just push me away..," he says while trying to wake himself totally. The more he slept the more tired he seem to be. This time wasn't an exception.
"Who would have knew you actually were a cuddler," Trevor teases smiling when he comes back, boldly scratching his itchy stubble down there.
"Who would have knew you make the most greatest bodypillow," Milo tsihs smiling back. When older sits back down, yawning, Milo pulls him down, rolling on him. "I slept like a log."
Surprised by this sudden attack, Trevor could first just stare the guy. But then he finally sighs deeply out, smiling. "You wanna do it? Too bad, my ass is a danger zone right now."
Milo snorts. Who says danger zone..? But that was quite straight way to state it was unavailable at the moment. Not that Milo was even seeking anything in the first place. But.. now he kind of was. Without saying a word, he slowly moves his other hand down, touching Trevors front on the trousers, gently rubbing.
That touch could turn Trevors mood immediately up. When his body went slightly charged, warming up, this stifling pain inside his chest made it suddenly hard to breathe. His eyes were locked on Milos. No way to get free.
They didn't need words to clear their shared desire. Their bodies spoke for themselfs. The lusting gaze in both of their eyes could cut any line between them, leaving this passionate tention what just overtakes them.
Milo leans closer. And lands his lips against Trevors, first teasing a little with a minor touch before totally suddendering for his lust. The same time he shamelessly takes a hold of Trevors front, rubbing his own body against him. Not just the raw treatment Milo was giving him while jerking him off, this fiery and wet kiss was close to drive Trevor mad. He wanted more.
"Touch mine too..," Milo whispers and helps the other by straightly moving Trevors hand to take a hold of his hardened part. When older squeezes his fingers around it, Milo was already fastly moving his lower body. His own hand start to move faster, making Trevor tsih and breathe harder. Milos lips were what silent his voice totally.
The more Milo tried to slow down the more excited he grow. They had totally fallen to their lusting state, forgetting the pass of time, ignoring where they were or how loud their action could become. Right now, there was nothing else than them. "Just.. a little harder..," younger begs and without a second thought Trevor focuses all his might to fulfil that wish, jerking harder, forcing Milo to keep his tongue against his own.
The lack of air made it feel even more stronger. The touch Trevor was intently giving though his mouth and his hand he did intentionally. Until Milo seriously couldn't take it anymore. The silent cry was what he could let out. Moving his lower body aggressively against Trevors hand, letting himself come. Breathing hardly while still searching this sweet touch from Trevors lips.
"So fast today..," older took his change to tease the other, smirking, touching the back of Milos head to keep his lips close.
Milo snorts back, opening his eyes and giving one last strong kiss before totally departing their lips. Keeping his silence still, he moves down, taking Trevors front into his mouth. Now this pleasuring touch Trevor was familiar with, he has received this serving from Milo before, everytime they have been together. He didn't want to admit it, but this guy surely knew how to use his mouth. Was it a result from a lot of practise or just knowing the perfect technique made Trevor feel both annoyed and amazed. But damn good overall.
Trevor was now leaning to his arm to keep his upper body up, to see better. While lustfully looking that pleasuring sight he moves his other hand to touch Milos hair. But when Milo realizes his staring, he starts to suck harder, using his hand to support his movement. That force the older move his hips a little, lean his head back and close his eyes for a second.
Milo takes it deeper. And even deeper. With every move it felt like younger was sucking him harder. "Don't force it," Trevor has to huff out. Sure it felt damn good, but looked very painful. "Are you nuts..?"
Giving one strong blow, Milo finally moves himself up, continuing this fast jerking with his hand. He takes a hold of Trevors forehead, pushing him back down, searching his lips. "I am. Kills my throat," he quietly laughs, finding Trevors tongue to suck.
Being this aggressive sure could make Milo look even more desirable in Trevors eyes. The rhythm man was still keeping with his hand was slowly moving Trevor closer to his finishing. Seeing how Milo was intently eyeing back could easily move Trevors every resisting, freeing him totally. Opening himself. Letting go.
And when Trevor then was about to reach his climax, he takes a hold of Milos hand and moves his hips so strongly Milo was about to fall over. But younger manages to stay still, smirking to olders strong reaction while eyeing his closed eyes, slowing his touch with his lips.
Finally Trevor releases his squeezing touch, swallowing his moan, holding Milo against himself while answering these tender kisses Milo was giving him. The slow fall back down from this trance calm their bodies, but surely not their beating hearts. It wasn't that a lot of exercise for them, but still they were slightly sweaty, from the heat of their bodies.
When Trevor could open his eyes again, he finds himself looking straight to Milos grey eyes. Younger was adoringly looking at him, smiling. Saying nothing.
That handsome face this close was just too much. Once again Trevor closes his eyes, pushs Milo on the bed on his side, leaning his face against youngers chest, hugging. He felt so dirty wearing this sticky shirt but being able to embrace Milo like this could easily compensate that all. He just didn't want to let go.
"Back to sleep?" Milo asks then, touching gently Trevors ear, then the hair.
"Can't I..?" man just shoots back, mumbling against Milos shirt. Now he just felt tired again. He wouldn't mind sleeping the whole day like this. This was his third day off today, which was rare to have such a long time off. In any case he would have been spending it lying down and watching TV. With this he would have a warmer next to him too.
"How about chancing first? There is cum all over our shirts..," younger states smiling. His body was so energy but his mind felt damn tired. He too wouldn't mind staying like this for a while. At least as long as he has calmed down again.
Trevor hums. But doesn't actually move a bit. Stays still.
Milo sighs and lows his head down too. Since this indeed was an uncommon opportunity to just lie down like this, he shouldn't rush here. But like savor the moment. Anytime now his phone might ring and a new quick job arrive.
Besides.. It was very cute to witness Trevor acting like this. Now Milo had thought guy would turn back to his usual brusque self, like pointing out they definitely should clean their mess. Or something like they should get up and have their breakfast to start the day rather than just waste time like this. Something like that. Since Trevor was a very practical person.
Has Milo read him wrong again? Was he more relaxed now that they had this 'deal' between them? Or that they finally were able to share things about their lifes, open up?
No. Wasn't it Milo who has kept his walls up, harshly pointed out from the beginning that there was no need for such sharing. No reason to get to know each other better than must. There was only one thing what was connecting them..
Milo indeed had required all that. And at first this guy went with his mind. Without complaining. Finally kind of pulling Milos wall full of holes with his middle finger. Making him surrender. Eat his own words. And that Milo couldn't but like about Trevor. How honest he was. How strong he was. How sure he was. About everything he seem to do and say. No. Trevor hasn't changed a bit. Milo has.
"Then.. Let's sleep all day like this," younger man breathes deeply out, brushing his fingers on Trevors hair. "You can borrow me some of that skill.."
Trevor smirks. Like hell they would seriously do that. He has to go back to see his sister off to the airport. That was the least he could do after spending literally more time with Milo than his own sister during the time Terry was visiting the city.
But for now not moving was more tempting idea. Trevor raises his hand a little, moving it, starting to draw with his fingers on Milos neck and back.

Sean Freeman. A fourtyseven years old owner of a local delivery service company called Frick Run with haulage prices and four-star reviews from friendly service and fast response time. Man has been running his business last eight years without major complains. Paying his taxes conscientiously.
Currently having two regular employees. Jonathan Carol and Samuel Hill. Both still actively working, together and alone with possible rental workers from popular X company. Carol is a fiancé of Freemans daughter with three years of experience working. Hill is a loner, being in company from it's root years. Nothing particularly suspicious.
Two days ago police got complaints from several callers about an abandoned van parked on the normal family neighborhood. Inside they found a cargo of guns and money. Such amounts were clearly meant for selling under. No registers. No ammos. The discovery went to headlines. Van was a rent, by a fake name. No suspects. No trails. No eyewitnesses. Nothing. The case was stagnant.
The kind of case Milo liked. When details could vanish to thin air, there was always someone behind hiding it. If police have no time and resource to investigate this properly, he surely has. But since he was doing this as a freelance journalist, he couldn't lean on the free knowledge from CID. But do this old-style. Search the area where they found the van, ask around. When he couldn't just use the citys surveillance camera recordings to explore who were around the time van appeared to the area, he could always use his charisma and lean to the help of the locals.
Milo was an expert in his field. Knew his rights as a journalist, a civilian doing his research. This country was twisted with giving the image of freedom but still keeping their residents in their open-feeling cages. But even a caged beast could do harm when letting his tamers above pet himself, before attacking from below. Walking in a grey area.
After the first day of running around, Milo has found one main clue to follow. That was why he was now hanging in one of his regular nightclubs, keeping an eye of these two young beautiful women who at the moment were having their fun at the dance floor.
Milo was in his element here. Showing his best features while talking with a random girl who has just appeared next to him at the bar desk to give her drink order. What Milo should have done was guard the dancing girls bags while they were moving in the rhythm of the beating music. But like Milo could just ignore any women around him, immediately giving his best flirt smile out.
When women came back, Milo took his change to use the mens room. Instead of taking a leak, he leans on the sink area while eyeing this pink covered phone in his hand. Thankfully that woman used only the draw lock, not fingerprint authentication. Otherwise breaking in her phone would have taken more time.
Simple going to the app store and downloading one inconspicuous camera filter accessory was enough to fill his mission for the night. Along with returning the phone without woman realizing, of course.
Generally Milo doesn't want to be too arrogant, but, really, people like these women living in their own little polished bubble were always the easiest ones to fool. Give them a little of your attention and they will eat from your hand. No, really, they weren't doing anything wrong here. Milo must be the twisted one here, faking his smile for his own goals. But people who were intentionally acting high like them, craving others approval in their online life.. Milo just couldn't feel sorry for them.
The woman whose phone he had here was Jonathan Carols fiancé, Marina Freeman. Milo has approached her, in order to get some more information about the guy in question and his possible whereabouts the time their companys car was shown in one of the security cameras Milo had get his hands on from one of the stores in the discovery area. When you introduce yourself as a journalist rather than investigator, people are very filling to help. And since Milo could show this incredible trusty and modest appearance, getting free access to security records around with just a smile was a piece of cake.
After talking with the owner of the Frick Run company and narrating about his worries of their company properties been seen in suspicious circumstances and needed to be cleared out from the list, Sean was more than cooperative. Since Milo minimise the matters, saying that it was just to clean the companys name from the very beginning, the owner gave his informations while they were laughing.
But why Milo has taken contact with the Frick Run owner mattered. Indeed the company car appeared in one of the records. Where the abandoned cargo van assumingly took a turn, the other trasport van had done the exact same. The possibility of cargo move was high. At least that was how Milo saw it. The swap happened in blind spot.
His suspicious were in place. According to a shift schedule, the older employee was on shift at the time, but run an errand on the other side of the city. In a provable manner. The womans fiancé had a day off. And against their company directive, was using the company van outside of work hours.
Jonathan Carol. A main suspect of having at least something to do with the cargos movements. Giving a helping hand for someone holding the strings. Probably just making some cash in hand jobs without his employer knowing. About that Milo wasn't interested a bit, but who has reguest the order in the first place.
So to first have his proofs, to even suspect the guy, Milo needed to get to know him more. You could learn a lot from social media. And from his bimbo fiancé. If you asked Milo, Marina wasn't what you would call a nice girl from neighborhood, loyal sweet wife-material. But a damn slut. Her social media was full of giving photos, with her girlfriends, showing this very glamorous lifestyle. But her normal income didn't speak for her. Even with her salary, working as an assistant under the city hall, she definitely couldn't keep up that kind of lifestyle with just her own money. So either she was living fake, or leaning the financial support from her fiancé.
When Milo approached women earlier, Marina was instantly all over him, shamelessly showing her interest. That only made all easier for Milo to grow her trust. And end up to this very situation, him standing in the mens room, breaking in this sweet girls phone to suck out every small information he could possible get. This what he was doing now was illegal. Neither his employers would approve this. But what no one knew wouldn't hurt anyone.
The loud music was all around him again when Milo steps out from the restroom area. Putting his smile on, he heads back where the women were drinking and chatting. The nightclub was full tonight. Party people were in their best mood right now. Just a few hours from being wasted and ready to crowl back to their nest to rest.
"Sorry to make you wait," Milo states smiling, taking his place at the bar, next to Marina. "Say, were you girls planning to go somewhere else? Or shall we head right to my place?" Knowing the other woman has a husband and Marina probably wouldn't dare to take his offer, Milo was confident enought to boldly stand his suggestion. There was no way they wouldn't refuse.
Young women giggle. "Oh, I don't know. Our men wouldn't like that," Marina smirks, but didn't low her interested look. Milo could easily tell, if she was alone here now, she would have definitely come with him.
Milo turns to look at the other woman. "Your man doesn't need to know, right?" the same time he said so the same time he so hoped girls wouldn't take the bait. The surden someone was holding his dick in chains right now. No way Milo would actually go anywhere with them.
"Milo!" the familiar sounding voice was calling him. Milo turns his look toward the women who was looking as energy as ever while rushing toward him. Immediately Milo drops his interest of the other girls, looking his savior with the most happiest smile ever.
"Kina, my sweetheart," man welcomes her with a smile. Kina jumps to hug him.
"It's been a while! How are you?" Kina smiles when releasing her touch, looking the women Milo was just talking with. "Your new friends?"
"Will you excuse me for a moment," Milo turns to look at Marina and her friend, showing this apologizing look. Then turning Kina around to change the area with her. "Are you alone tonight?"
"Not. My friends are around," young woman explains while turning to look behind them. "Did I blow your changes there?" She teases.
"Doesn't matter. I rather spend my time with cutes like you and your friends," Milo clears. The moment he came back from the mens room, he slip the phone back where it belong, in Marinas purse. Now he should just take his distance from the target. Having someone like Kina stealing him here was perfect.

"Oh my head..," Kina cries while keeping his aching forehead. She was leaning on her seat, eyes closed, keeping a strong hold of the water bottle on her hand. Their shift has started an hour ago, but she still felt nauseas.
Trevor just hums. He has so used to sharing his shifts with this crying party youngster that he didn't even bother to comment about it anymore. He was sure, when he was in his early twenties, he never had that much energy to spare to go in nightclubs after working long shifts day after day. So Trevor was actually amazed how Kina could do it. Even if listening to her whining later was annoying.
"I swear, that bastard Milo made me drink the whole tray!"
Hearing that name drag Trevors whole attention, almost making him forget he was the one driving here. "Milo was with you?"
Kina nods. "You remember him? That handsome guy we met before," she raises her water bottle to keep it against her head. "I spot him flirting with some girls and planned to save them from him. But he end up drinking me under the table. I'm pretty sure he was cheating though.."
"Yeah, I remember him..," Trevor tsihs. Sighing. Well that didn't take long. It kind of was Trevors own fault to even assume anything else from a guy like him. Guess that was that between them.
- - - -
What Milo found from that phones datafiles were more than enough to make sure he was on to something. Not only he indeed found messages between Jonathan and Marina talking about the third party business about Jonathan using the cars from his workplace, there was also a clear link to the very third party who had given the job to move at least some cargo on the very same area where the assumed gun cargo swap happened.
There was even a name who Milo knew very well. Marinas own boss. Mr Kendrick Beringer. A full member of the city council government. One of the heads running their lovely X city.
Realizing this might be bigger scandal than he ever had assumed lift this wide smile on Milos face. The more he put his informations together the more clearer the case became. Even when being very thin clue still, he has definitely found something interesting. This wasn't about a simple lost gun cargo anymore. But just an iceberg from something bigger.
It's been a while Milo has put all his energy to his actual work as a journalist. Now that his Boss was still on hold, officially, the time was on his side and he could actually great cases from nothing on his own. No wonder he loved this job, hunting drama out from dark to light. It was so rewarding when you could find results like this.
If this goes overe the line, it becomes his case as a crime investigator then. Nothing could stop him taking this to the end.

"Are you kidding me..?" Larx was mumbling silently while reading the preliminary report Milo brought him to see. They were sitting inside their regular coffee place, Milo patiently waiting his superiors opinion. Usually Milo didn't bother to show his personal investigations from outside the CID, but this case was quite different. Since this might be huge, he felt more confident to at least show it to someone. And Larx was a perfect choice.
After going through every little thing, Larx finally lows the last paper down, turning his eyes on Milo. Young man was eyeing him, frozen. Waiting.
Older shows a proud smile. "This is enough to start an official investigation if you want. I will support you," man states. Really, the way Milo could figure out this much without any help from above welt sometimes very unreal. Scary even. "We still need to find out where the cargo was actually heading, who was the driver.."
Hearing his answer made Milo loose the tention around him. "There is still more I need to do. But I will send you all I have now," he smiles, feeling damn relieved. He hasn't been feeling this happy a long time. At work, that is. In his personal life he has been feeling nothing but happy lately. But..
While they were chatting about the case some more, Milo keep eyeing his phone from time to time. There was still no any answer from Trevor. It's been two days now. Milo had even tried to call him once too. Still nothing.
Somehow Milo could right away think only one reason why that guy would be suddenly ghosting him now. If Milo was on his shoes, he would probably do the same. If Kina has talk about seeing him the other night, there was a big possibility she had said something unnecessary misleading, without even realizing.
Milo might be in trouble even after not doing anything..

Trevor steps out the hospitals side doors and heads to the parking area. Another long day shift was behind and all he want now was to get something light to eat and fill his thoughts with any random thing, to stop himself rolling the same ideas in his mind over and over again.
But just seeing the familiar guy standing next to his car could immediately drag his bad mood back. Trevor doesn't even want to think a reason why Milo was here. Thinking it was better to just swallow his anger and ignore the guy would be the best way to keep his sharp tongue in control. Young man would get a hint in time.
"Are you ignoring me on purpose?" Milo asks when Trevor was walking closer, no any intention of slowing his steps. There was no need for words when Trevor simple walks past him, making it very clear that was exactly the case here.
Milo sighs and turns, pushing the door back shut after Trevor was planning to just get in his car and leave. "Hey, I think you are-" That was all he gets to say until feeling this sharp punch on his face, making him take a fast correcting hold with his leg to not fall down.
Damn, that came from nowhere!
After giving his hit, Trevor calmly opens the door and gets in, starts the car and fastly drives away, leaving Milo stand there alone, keeping the left side of his face.
Young man spits some blood from his mouth. "That fucker.."
- - - -
"What the hell happened to you?!" Larx awes worried after seeing the swallen yellow eye Milo has. He definitely didn't have that yesterday. "An ambush?"
"Something even worse..," Milo states calmly and sits down. This time they were meeting at the police station, on the third floor, having a meeting with Don. Since Milo was able to put together the evidences strong enough to make this one a real call, Dons word was a must here.
"Is it about the case?"
"Not. Personal.."
"Who you have pissed off..?"
"Trevor..," Milo answers straight.
Larx laughs. "Him? Wanna file a charge from assault?"
"Hell no.."
"What was it about? Lovers fight?"
"He might think I cheated..," younger keeps. His mind was so mess because of that guy that it was close to impact his work mode now.
"Are you serious here? You guys are actually together now..?" Larx almost jump up from his chair. Milo has never ever been serious with anything else than working. Always saying how deep relationships weren't for him. But he actually has someone special now??
"Not so.. Kind of.."
What kind of answer that was. Larx smirks and takes more relaxed position. Since Don wasn't here yet, he so wouldn't let this subject flee. Young man was looking damn depressed that he just couldn't take it. "Be glad it doesn't look that bad. Your face. As a former professional he could have make a mess."
"A former what..?" Milo sighs annoyed. "You bastards seriously investigated him?"
"Not me. The guys did. You didn't?" Larx admits. "They weren't serious at first. But after realizing who he was, I guess they went a little over. I got their report the next day. Your 'Trevor Lewis' was a professional kickboxer on his early twenties. Still holds the record of fastest knock out in XX league. 5,89 seconds.."
"Ha..?" not that Milo first even wanted to know but seriously how he wouldn't want to know after hearing that. "He does?"
"You guys don't talk, ha? Just screw?" older teases and searchs his phone. "Apparently he stopped after his wife died in an accident. Of course, he had also start working as a paramedic during the time too so it was a matter of time when he had to make his choice. You knew he had a wife?" Larx gives his phone to Milo, showing the news reports what guys had found, about Trevors professional years. Indeed there he was, looking exactly the same as now, like he hasn't aged at all, waiting his round to start while standing on the corner, looking toward the camera.
"I heard.. about his wife..," Milo says quietly, fast-reading the headlines, rolling down the report page.
"Kiho found something else too," Larx notes then, clearing his throat. "But I think that if you don't already know and you are actually serious about him, it's probably better you find out about that yourself. Or not at all. It was not pretty."
Milo raises his look. Wondering what exactly that was now. But when Don opens the door and calls the meating started they immediately drop this case and focus their main reason to be here.

The rain was heavily falling down. Trevor was standing under the shelter in front of the doors, looking tiredly up. The sky clearly knew how to be supportive. Crying for his sake when he himself couldn't. If there was a thunderstorm in the air it would have been perfect to describe his frustrated feelings.
Not that he hasn't doubted were his presumptions even right and was he only making himself feel this shit just because he didn't want to hear Milos excuses yesterday.. But overall just giving up right away felt way more easier than assume anything. And he was surprisingly fine with that. In the end this all have felt like he was just waiting the time he could finally hate that guy. Forget how much he actually like him..
Just hoping that guy would now stay away. Forever.
Taking the first step under the rain was calming. Making him soaking wet immediately. Like cleaning his mind. Hitting every single thought away with every drop. The second step was more harder. He was scared the yesterdays image would repeat itself. That Milo would be there again. Waiting.
Third step. Then that bastard deserves another punch.
Fourth step. Bring it on. He could do it until guy gets tired.
After that Trevor just kept moving, walking slowly. Staring the wet ground while getting closer and closer to the parking area.
He stops his steps. Eyes locking on the guy who was indeed standing in front of Trevors car, holding an umbrella. A deep breath out. And Trevor keeps going.
Clearly this bastard wasn't going to give up. Even when Trevor would have wanted to give another straight one right on that pretty face, every step closer kind of made him lose those thoughts. Giving up.
"Just get in the car..," Trevor quietly says, eyeing Milo calmly while walking slowly past him, opening the doors with his key.
"Not gonna hit me again, are you?" Milo wants to clear first, being extremely charged right now.
"You might be young and stupid. But you are not an idiot," Trevor points out, turning to look at Milo. "There is no way you would be here again if you really didn't have a reason. Get in." Older opens the door and sits in.
Milo sighs, walks fastly on the other side of the car, opens the door and after closing his umbrella he gets in, shuts the door. Young man turns his look on Trevor, meeting with his eyes. Older was awfully calm. But looked damn mad.
"Okay, speak then," man sighs, looking away, trying to dry his soaking wet hair with his hand.
"You are mad because Kina told you I was in that club with those girls, right?" Milo drops then, knowing this was indeed the case here without a doubt. "That's the only possible reason I could think."
"And? What are you doing here then?" Trevor spits his words out, trying to decide should he indeed just punch Milo rather than sit still listening this shit.
"I followed them in, stole others phone to get informations about his fiancé and used Kina to get rid of them after."
Trevor snorts and finally looks toward Milo again. What ever he had imagined this guy to say was nothing compared what he actually blurted out just now. Leaving Trevor speechless.
They were looking at each others in silence. Until Trevor moves his face forward, closing his eyes, sighing deeply out. Suddenly all his doubts just vanish away. Milo would never make up something that stupid just to lie his way back. He already has a story behind that, no doubt. Probably a real one too. It was about his work after all?
Since Trevor doesn't say anything, but looked like he was seriously thinking what Milo just said, the younger dares to speak again. "Not that it matters, but I was sober enough to drive away there with my own car. 'Cause I wasn't in for drinking. But for work."
"You stole a phone?" Trevor smiles. Looking out the window. "Isn't that a crime?"
"It is so I really hope you can forget I ever said that. Let's just say I borrowed it. I gave it back after I was done," Milo fastly clarifys. "She didn't even realize anything."
"So I misunderstood?" now Trevor moves to look at him, sighing. Still quite puzzled since he clearly doesn't have the whole picture yet. But couldn't really think a reason to doubt Milos words. This was more like finally having clarification. To clean his doubts. Since from the beginning he really didn't want to believe Milo would this suddenly just ditch him. Even when there was such a change. This kind of insecurity was making him mad. Act haste.
Milo hums, intently eyeing the other. Indeed, Trevor was fast to listen calmly when the other gives a reasonable reason. But he surely wouldn't stand futile excuses. At all.
"Then I must apologize," older states then, not dropping his look. "No matter what I shouldn't have done that."
"I would like to say this was nothing, but taking that fast hook from the record holder went straight to my top three," Milo tsihs, pointing his face. Even thinking that punch made his teeth and eye hurt still. "You still live for your legend."
"You finally googled me?" Trevor smirks.
"I didn't. My friends did."
"Friends?"
Milo clears his throat, kind of wondering should he even say anything. "They found out your name and got curious.."
Curious? From what? How exactly they even knew about him? Trevor leans to the wheel while keeping his sharp glance on the other. "And how they know my name?" he shows his sneaky smile.
Since older guy was clearly enjoying this now, Milo probably should just speak out. "When I searched your IDs. Those bloodsuckers realized it wasn't work related.. But when you gave me this I heard you actually could have done much worse. So they showed me some articles today," he explains. "I swear. It's not that I tried to snoop your backgrounds behind your back."
"Isn't that the exact thing what you were doing from the start?" Trevor wonders. Pointing out that actually was how they start to know each other. By searching behind each others back. Not talking straight.
"Isn't that quite inappropriate now?" younger tsihs back. He didn't want to know if it wasn't from the man himself.
Trevos snorts, moving his eyes away to straighten his back. So what exactly has changed here then? If it wasn't appropriate anymore? Hearing such couldn't but make him feel damn glad. Feeling false hope about something what would never be. And it was eating him from inside. "Her name was Miranda," he suddenly says, moving his wet hair from his forehead. Drying his face. "She was always complaining how I was playing around during my teen years. Always being the popular one where ever I went. A lot like you, I guess. But no matter who I was with, she was always there for me. I fell in love. Left everything behind and followed her here. I thought everything was fine. I couldn't see a thing being any different around us. We never fought. We shared our days like any couple.."
Trevor moves his eyes up, leaning his head behind. Smiling. "It was a normal work day. We get a request, a motorcycle accident on the bridge. The least I expected was to find her there. Badly hurt. Shocked. Blind from the blood," now he snorts. "She couldn't tell who I was. Only thing she kept asking was 'was her boyfriend okay'.."
Milo was silently eyeing how Trevor moves once again his eyes down, trying to figure out where to look. "She died there. In my arms. We took the man with us to the hospital. Day after he thanked me. From saving his life. Not even knowing the guy standing in front of him was his girlfriends husband. That was hilarious. But back then I couldn't dare to say anything. I was a mess myself," Trevors voice cracks once. But he fastly puts the smile back on his face. Looking like the whole thing didn't bother him at all. "I heard later she had told him we were getting divorce. Living separately. Even her parents thought so. My parents believed so. Everyone we knew together thought so. I was the last one to know.."
Now man looks straight to Milo. "We made to news. How husband found out about his unfaithful wifes secret double life after a crash," he smiles. "But luckily only some small articles had my name in. Not a word about her name though. Since she was a nobody." After that he simple stays still, keeping his cold glance. But still wearing his smile. "I gave up on kickboxing and focused on working. Actually I gave up on everything. Cut ties with my parents. Everyone. But I do go sparring once in a while. The days from that record are long gone though."
Milo doesn't dare to say anything yet. He wasn't sure was Trevors calm attitude real or just a way to hide his true feelings. Man seem to be too care-free. From every aspect. But still it was exactly how Milo has used to see him. "That's heavy..," he finally says.
Man smirks. "It is. Damn shitty thing to live in," he sighs. Being actually very relaxed right now. He hasn't talk about that a long time now. But reminding himself what he had went through and where he was now.. He really needed that once in a while. "But like I said, that was a long time ago. I have grown out from that. But if I hear someone I'm supposed to trust fucking around behind my back, don't expect I want to meet that person ever again. To me they are dead after that."
That was very reasonable. No wonder Trevor was showing openly his charged attitude. Because he simple has every right to do so. Milo lets out a deep breathe, smiling, taking a better position to sit, moving the umbrella on his legs. He could definitely understand Trevor now better.
"I thought to tell you this before your friends do. I have had enough of people keeping things from me. You of all have been the worst kind," Trevor keeps, making Milo once again look straight at him. "But it was somehow fresh to meet someone who actually didn't even try to hide it. That you didn't give a damn about me. And I shouldn't give a damn about you. But I couldn't even do that.. I'm bad with this game.. really hate this game.."
Milo smirks. This guy has always been so honest, with his words and with his body, that it was Milo all along who has been the freaking idiot here to not admit seeing it. How much he could hurt, himself and others around him, by pretending to be blind.
"You think we should just stop here?" Trevor wonders then, moving his eyes forward, feeling very relieved to finally say it out loud. Trying to fit himself to something he wasn't fitting only prolong his frustration. That didn't lead to anything. They were both grown-ups here. They should know when to give up when the agreed line has crossed. This time. they should really go on their own ways.
"Yeah," Milo hums. "I think we should just seriously start dating.."
Trevors eyes went wide open. Fastly he turns to stare at Milo who was just eyeing back, smiling, indeed very amused after seeing that expected expression on Trevors face.
"Let's start over. Forget that agreement," younger adds clearly, finally letting his inner thoughts out. "I will choose you. Commit to you. And if I become stupid enough and want to leave you, I will face you straight. Tell you straight. Talk it straight. I will not just disappear from you."
"Don't give me that bullshit now. Where this is coming from..?" Trevor tsihs, smirking. He couldn't but think Milos words were just a sick joke. Now he really really wanted to hit the guy.
"No idea. I seriously can't even understand myself anymore. But one thing I know for sure..," Milo turns to sit sidely, meeting Trevor properly, leaning closer. "These last weeks have messed up my life. YOU have messed up my life. I didn't plan this but sadly I'm clearly not smart enough to be able to ignore.. this. What ever this is.. So you think I have a choice? I can't but try this out. Or else I know I will regret later. I do give a damn.."
Trevor snorts. "Did I hit you too hard?"
"You did. Since that didn't even bother me that much. Because I knew you had your reasons to do that," younger keeps, has already forget that hit. "Look, my job is the exact reason why I keep others away. I can't have anything to distract me when I'm on it. Can't think how my choices have an impact to those close to me. I'm not heartless. But.. I'm already distracted. By you. Way more than I ever wanted. That fact I can't change. So wouldn't it be better to just.. move on from that. Start over."
Trevor sighs out, holding his head, unbelieving. How this bastard suddenly thinks he could ask such when Trevor was seriously planning to leave himself? Like he could ever say no to that. He felt so confusedly happy at the moment that he seriously wanted to hit the guy. Making his heart beat this strongly.
"I have never really asked what you want. If you don't know yet I-" "How I wouldn't know..," Trevor cuts quietly. Squeezing the wheel to not let his frustration out. Saying no more.
Now how Milo should read that reaction..? Was Trevor angry or fine? "Are we good?"
"Yeah, we are good..," older sighs, releasing his touch from the wheel, searching Milos eyes under his owns. "I have an early shift tomorrow. But are you coming over?" That was a direct suggestion.
Milo smirks. Straight to the point? Not that he mind. But.. "I'm in the middle of working.. I have this last report to finish.."
"Is it that urgent? Can't you do it in my place?" Trevor states, showing honestly his annoyed mood out. "Just.. bring your laptop. That's your tool, right?"
Seeing guy showing that frustrated look could easily mess Milos mind. His priorities took a straight turn. And he totally lost a hold of his rational reasoning. Gives up. Fastly, he moves closer, makes Trevor face him while aggressively searching his lips to touch. How something this bitter and sharp could give him such a pleasure by only mere touch, aching this much and still making him want more. The way how Trevor answers to his kiss only made Milo more eager here.
"I go home. Get my stuff. Then come over," Milo whispers when they finally could release their hold. If he doesn't go now, he might just lose his control totally.
"Good..," Trevor hums, knowing they might really lose their mind and do it right here and now if they didn't apart immediately. That would be very irresponsible act from both of them.
Milo turns, opens the door and fastly leaves, leaving his umbrella behind.

While Milo was sitting on the couch, writing something with his laptop, Trevor was eyeing him intently from the kitchen area, waiting their water to warm up. It was over the midnight already. Olders shift was starting at five am, so he should be already heading to sleep. But since the younger man with him here was still wide awake while working, Trevor doesn't want to miss his change, to just have this guy under his watch.
How Milo was able to just keep going and going without showing any lack of sleep was amazing. Must be an adverse effect from his insomnia, just using the fact he probably couldn't get any sleep so he choose to use the time for something better, like this. Although there really seem to be something man was seriously working on.
"Can I watch?" Trevor asks while he hands the warm tea cup to Milo, sitting down next to him.
When the younger turns to look at him and takes the offer, his other hand lands on Trevors leg, giving this one gently fondling. The move was so instinctive that Milo didn't give it that much thought. But to Trevor that was a shot right through his heart. Wondering how he still could feel this sensitive at his age made him instantly feel irritated.
"You can. This will be published soon anyway," Milo smiles, taking a culp from his sweet tasting drink. This was the same drink Trevor had offered him earlier too. Something what was supposed to calm the mind before going to sleep. Milo wasn't so sure could something as simple as tea be that effecting or was it actually the presence of this guy next to him who could help him sleep. Either way, his inner calm was definitely on. "I'm sorry if I'm keeping you awake. You can go first, take your rest. I will follow soon."
What a dirty lie. Trevor has a feeling this guy might sit here like this the rest of the night if no one stops him. Concentrating on his work detriment of his health. That possibility was already clear without a doubt. Something Trevor has witnessed himself.
"No, I will stay up until you go with me..," older simple states, with a shade of blackmailing in it.
Milo sighs while turning to look at the man next to him, totally recognizing this arrogantly straight mood Trevor was giving out. Not a bit of mercy in it. You could read this ones mood easily when man wasn't even trying to embellish his words or the way how he spoke. 'Try and fight back the words from the guy you are this much into. Don't forget you are under my foot outside the bed.' That was what the tone of his voice meant.
Trevor only glances him once, smirks and moves to eye what was going on in the screen, while drinking from his own tea cup. Sure, he would have rather go straight to bed, with Milo of course. But he has to admit what ever Milo was working on here looked interesting too. "Beringer? Isn't he part of our city council?"
"He is. Still. Not after I get him arrested," Milo proudly states when he closes his laptop, drinking the rest of his tea with one large culp. "I'm done. Let's get you to bed."
"Forget that. What you meant 'arrested'?" Trevor tsihs. After hearing something that shocking, he was so eager to hear more. Who cares of sleeping!
Younger stands up, smiling. "Exactly what I said. Come on," he shows his hand, waiting Trevor to get a hint and follow him. Milo wasn't planning to take the blame of Trevors lack of sleep if he ends up staying up more late. Ten hour shifts behind the wheel while saving human lifes were exhausting for anyone. At least let them take their rest while they still could.
Trevor takes a hold of his hand and gets up with the help of it. "What is this?" he shows a smile while raising their united hands, meaning this hand holding thing now.
"Trying to spoil you. And build trust. Make sure you know I meant what I said earlier," Milo clears straight, not a bit of doubt in his voice. He turns and drags Trevor with him, toward the bedroom. Since Milo has not shown been that trustworthy, he has to work hard to gain Trevors trust. "While you are trying to help me with my glitch, I should respond the same way, not drag you with me. You need sleep. Besides, it's been a while. Sleeping on your bed. It's more comfy than my couch."
Trevor sighs. He was still curious to hear about Milos unreal sounding case. But those simple words of sweet talk were quite affecting too. "You realize you are just making me excited like this..," he calmly points out, making Milo immediately stop his steps, turn around and face him.
Feeling very surprised after hearing Trevor actually saying something like that out loud, younger couldn't but try to hold his smirk. "This turns you on?" Milo asks while holding their hands up, kissing the back of Trevors hand.
The look on Trevors face said enough. Man clears his throat to get his voice back. "That.. freaks me out.. gigolo.." Indeed that felt so weird, having his hand kissed like that.
Milo laughs a little and lows their hands, turning around again. Without saying anything he just leads them next to the bed, finally releasing his hold from the hand. Trevors facial expressions were exactly the same as the day they met. Showing openly how uneasy he felt since the situation was so new to him. But still feeling excited enough to not back off.
"So no touching if I'm not about to eat you. Good to know," Milo teases, while still daring to gently touch Trevors cheek, landing a delicate kiss on mans lips. Then he lows his hand and takes a step back. "I will get our phones. Set the alarm. Close the lights. You crawl under that blanket. Okay?"
Sometimes it was really hard to figure out when this man was just acting honest or just simple acting. There was no way Trevor could deal this sweet flirt overdose. The moment Milo turns away Trevors heart was beating so strongly he could feel the pulse in his head.
Sighing out, Trevor turns and pulls the cover away from the bed.
