Disbelief was written all over Andrius's face.
He couldn't believe that his opponent, who had been dormant just a moment ago, was now a second-class awakened! What had happened? What did he miss?
"You seem surprised that I'm now a class ahead of you," Vince smirked cockily. "I honestly didn't expect this. I have a question, though, if you don't mind. Why were you so disgusted with me for being dormant? Back in the written test, you kept talking about me with your friends, shaming me because I hadn't awakened yet…"
"But I realized something. You haven't been awakened for very long yourself, have you?"
Andrius's eyes widened slightly.
Vince's eyes smiled along with his lips. He was almost grinning, showing his sharp and elongated canines, which made him look predatory.
