As Wukong held the Tethered's arm in place, he gritted his teeth and swung his blade toward the Lergobeast. Knowing full well the Tethered would not let his source of power die, Wukong watched the Tethered's glowing arteries closely.
And just when his sword was about to make contact with the Lergobeast, the glow in his arteries disappeared. Seeing this, Wukong knew the Tethered had let go of his Lergobeast's Yin Alkalis. So he acted immediately.
Focusing on the Rift Ring in his left hand, he at once summoned another Garnet-Ranked sword. With a flash, the sword appeared in his hand and in the blink of an eye, Wukong drove it into the Tethered's chest.
Within the second, blood began to seep out of the wound and paint the sword red.
