Stepping into the room, Judith paid no mind to how empty this relatively large room was and fixated her sights to the only thing present. Which was a mini Way-Point situated at the far corner of the room.
This Way-Point was all Judith needed, and was the reason she came to the Northern part of the castle.
Looking at it, Judith felt a hint of fear gripping her. What she was about to do was dangerous. So many things could go wrong if she wasn't careful, and even if she was extremely careful, there was no guarantee that she would be safe.
But if she didn't do this now, there probably wouldn't be another chance like it. She had to get the ball rolling and she had to start now.
Just as she was about to make up her mind, the light that illuminated the small room began to fade when the door/wall that had opened to reveal this room, began to close. This room had no Light Crystals, so if the door/wall had completely closed, then Judith would be engulfed in total darkness.
Not that this would make any difference, but Judith just didn't feel to be in this creepy room when the lights went out.
Taking a deep breath, Judith got on the Way-Point and shut her eyes. She focused on the Way-Point underneath her feet, and when she made a mental decision to push forward, the Way-Point activated.
Green lights swirled into the room, filling it and overturning the darkness. As Judith stood there waiting, she took the time to admire her own Alkalis Hue. Which she had realized upon activating her first Way-Point when she came to the castle, was emerald green.
'Not bad.' Judith thought, and as the light engulfed her, she suddenly had realized something, before being whisked into the air.
Soaring through the sky, Judith found herself loving every moment of it. This had to be the dozenth time doing this so far, but yet she discovered she couldn't get enough of it. Because nothing felt quite like flying, and as far as Judith could predict, she was never going to be tired of this.
After a couple of seconds, Judith finally made land and at once, she was slammed from all sides by different sensations.
The sounds of creatures, the smells of plant-life, the feel of the gently breeze on her skin. In an instant, the forest came alive.
Surrounded by tall trees, Judith found the sight of light seeping into the forest from the White Phoenix through small openings in the trees breath-taking.
Turning down, Judith discovered the min Way-Point she was standing on was covered in roots which seemed to creep over the mini Way-Point. Seeing that they had not completely covered the Way-Point caused Judith to sigh out of relief. Though she knew the Way-Point would be usable, thinking about the possibility that it wouldn't scared her.
Shaking her head, Judith focused her mind and began to scan her environment. She was in a forest no doubt, but if memory served — and it did — then that meant Judith was at the Southern borders of Xian city.
And for the plan she had in mind, she needed to go East.
Before making up her mind to head out, she paused for a moment, when she remembered two things. Said two things she realized when she used the hidden Way-Point back at the castle.
One of said things she realized was that her Alkalis Hue was was emerald green. She didn't know why it took her this long to realize this, but Sarah's Alkalis Hue was white.
This was the second thing that differentiated Judith from Sarah. First the tattoo and now this. Judith found herself feeling a hint of fear regarding these subtle changes. She wondered how many more things would change moving forward.
'Hopefully, nothing major.' Judith thought, trying to quell her worries.
Pushing this aside, Judith thought on that other realization she had. This realization was nothing major, but was something that annoyed Judith to her core, as she found herself very stupid for this mistake. Said mistake being that she did not carry any bag with her.
Where was she going to keep all the Parahearts she would collect?
After several face palms, she sighed and then took a step forward.
Judith made her way through the forest, all the while making a mental note of her surroundings, the path she had gone through, any distinct feature she saw on the trees and other foliages and so on. She did all this in an effort to remember where the Way-Point was, and so she would not get lost.
A minute or so into her walk, Judith began to grow very annoyed when she found her robe getting caught on a branch, root, stick, twig and so on.
The white robe she wore wasn't that long, but was long enough to cause her major discomforts in traversing this forest. Having it up to her neck with the robe she wore, Judith bent low and tore the lower half of the robe...well, she tried to, but found that the robes given to her by Qui Lin, were much more sturdy than those she got at the Outpost.
After a good ten minutes wasted, Judith gave up on trying to tear the lower half of her robe. 'That's a shame,' Judith had thought, because she had an idea to use the half she would tear as a makeshift bag, but that did not really pan out.
Feeling defeated by a mere piece of fabric, Judith bitterly pulled the rim of her robe up to her waist, and tied it in place, so she looked as though she was wearing a short gown.
Dawning a renewed vigor, Judith pressed forward, heading East while keeping a mental note of her surroundings.
It didn't take her too long before she finally found what she was looking for. A few meters ahead, Judith caught a glimpse of several Parabeasts, munching away on the carcass of another Parabeast.
