An hour had passed and Judith couldn't sleep a wink no matter how much she tried. Feeling her body burn from lying in one position for an hour, she sat up and turned to face Wukong.
He was asleep, out cold. The wounds he sustained seemed to show its effects, as it looked like he wouldn't be able to wake even if the loudest noise was made.
Turning her sights to the plate beside him, Judith felt her stomach rumble when she saw that the other sliced half of Wukong's loaf was completely untouched. She frowned upon seeing this and suppressed the urge to shake him awake and force the bread down his throat.
Crawling over to his side, she picked the loaf and plate, then placed it in the Rift Ring without hesitation. So as to avoid any temptations. She was already hungry enough.
Getting back to her corner, she leaned on the tree as several thoughts which had been keeping her awake began to surface at the forefront of her mind.
