Once Shen had disappeared, Wukong kept his Rift Ring at the forefront of his mind. While preparing himself to attack whomever struck at him first. He stood, waiting and waiting. But to his surprise, nothing had happened.
They had waited for the interval of time in which Way-Point would be idle till the person using it had both landed and then gotten off the Way-Point on the other side.
And all the while they waited, no one took action.
Staring at the lights lining the carvings on the stone platform that was the Way-Point to die down, the Commander turned to Wukong and then gestured to the Way-Point.
"The young lord has arrived, it is your turn my prince." The Commander had said.
Hearing this, Wukong was more than astonished. Though he had yet to confirm this, it would seem the Commander had no intention of harming them.
