Being jolted awake and lurching forward, Judith began to pant heavily. She felt her being completely in splitters as she heaved. She was covered in sweat and her heart was pounding.
Taking in deep breaths and grabbing her chest, Judith tried to calm her heart as its rapid beating had begun to hurt.
Pulling herself back, she leaned on the wall and continued to pant. As she did so, the memories of what had happened replayed in her head on loop. Though she couldn't physically feel the pain, she still did so mentally and as such the integrity of her mind was tittering on the edge of sanity and complete madness.
And though Judith felt herself sane, she couldn't help but believe she had fallen into the side of insanity, because what she was about to do, no sane person would ever dare.
With a big exhale, Judith resumed the Cultivation posture and prepared herself to return.
