While other Kingdoms were barely able to groom Tethereds that could by chance break through their bottleneck and become Opals, Qugan had Opals by the thousands. Which was why they had been the leading Kingdom for many centuries.
No one would dare invade the most lush and abundant Kingdom in the world to make it their own, if they didn't match up to the military might of the Kingdom they wanted to invade.
And because of this, there had been no wars amongst the Kingdoms for as long as Qugan ruled.
Yet, this didn't stop the North, the East or the West from trying to steal their secrets. Every now and then, spies would be sent into Qugan from all three Kingdoms. Spies which Sarah — or now Judith — was a part of.
But she didn't want to be anyone's spy. So whenever she got the chance, she would free herself of the West's hold on her. And not help them with their plans...no matter how noble said plans were.
