Staring at the ki crystal, Judith saw it had gone completely black, with not even a single tint of its blue sheen present. Now, Judith took a deep breath before pulling her arm down while never once losing the momentum of her spin.
Then, she turned her wrist so the bottle now spun in a vertical angle instead of a horizontal one. Doing this had caused a sharp pain to burn into the joint of her spinning arm. But gritting her teeth, she did her best to stomach the pain, before sliding the small coal shovel toward Tsai.
"Take out the crystal and put it in the pot." Judith said through gritted teeth. And Tsai, wasting no time at all, picked up the shovel and raced over to the crystal.
Picking it out of the flames — while gathering a few pieces of wood and charcoal — she raised the shovel and placed the crystal in the pot. Immediately after, a sizzling sound burst into the air, along with a plume of steam.
