Chapter 37 - THE TRUTH

Luckily, after some time, the demon beast didn't move, so to be totally sure, I attacked it with all my magic power. Then, approaching it, I started attacking, and finally, I used my new fire to test its strength. With full power, the being burned completely and turned to ashes in a second, leaving me shocked.

As I sensed another powerful person approaching, I hid immediately. In that moment, I didn't notice how black smoke erupted from their body and entered mine. I felt a tingling sensation, but I continued to run since the powerful being was closing in. Thankfully, my speed far exceeded theirs, and after about two hours of running, I no longer felt anyone searching for me.

I entered a cave to rest, realizing the flame attack, although powerful, had conserved only 1/3 of my power. Sitting there, I rested until I felt somewhat better. Then, I checked on the person I'd rescued; he was still unconscious and bleeding. Using my flame's healing power, I restored his energy, though his stamina and consciousness depended on him.

I offered him some fruits to eat, unsure if he was ally or enemy. However, gathering information was crucial. After a day, while focusing on regaining my energy, he regained consciousness, and my energy was fully restored.

When he wake up, he knelt and said, "Little Master, Little Master." I was shocked, unsure why he addressed me thus.

In confusion, I asked, "Who is Little Master? I'm not your Little Master; I don't even know you."

Without moving his head, he replied, "You are Little Master. You bear the bloodline symbol of Master Lyra on your back."

I asked, still perplexed, "How can you see it? That symbol should be completely invisible I even can't see it now one I can only feel something is there and I also realised during wheni reached cosmic arcitect stage 7

He explained, "As a special Tiger Beast, I possess the Eye of Truth, an innate ability since birth. I can see bloodlines, energy reserves, and levels easily. Master Lyra saved me multiple times, and I became her loyal servant."

As I listened, memories flooded back. I recalled inheriting my mother Lyra's bloodline, a fusion of Dragon and Tiger Queen Beast. After the attack, our bloodlines had bound together, making them indivisible.

"Now, not a single vein presence can be detected, only my blood veins," I whispered. "My nadi and blood veins are 100% intertwined, making them slightly larger and visible under my skin."

He nodded, his gaze still fixed on me.

"I understand," I said. "But how is the Death Forest faring, and how did that demon beast arrive? Isn't it forbidden for demons to interact with beasts and humans?"

The boy replied, "All was well until Master Lyra was about to give birth. Then, we received a signal of a massive demon attack on the east side of the Death Forest. We rushed there to help, but I, along with others, was suddenly captured and caged. I didn't grasp what was happening."

"I've been imprisoned for a year," he continued. "Upon my release, I learned of Master Lyra's death and her descendant's supposed demise. But I believe Master Lyra passed on her legacy to you, meaning Prapti is also alive."

I nodded, understanding most of the story. "But one thing eludes me," I said. "Why did they release you, and who betrayed the Beast Queen?"

The boy's expression turned grim. "They freed me to manipulate the elder of beast and whole beast species to claiming he has the royal and pure bloodline to rule. But I refused to deceive him, so they tried to kill me."

"I safely escaped and then met you," I replied. "But tell me, who is this enemy, and what are his powers?"

The boy's voice trembled. "He's from the dragon bloodline, but his purity is remarkably low. Even compared to Master Lyra, who had 50% beast tiger and 50% dragon bloodline, he only has 30% dragon bloodline. The rest is impure and unclear, making him weak."

"His level is Universal soverign 7," the boy continued. "Many oppose him, but his dragon bloodline grants him a significant advantage. He's also the youngest among them. However, to solidify his position, he secretly allied with demons, planning to wage war against humans with demonic aid once he becomes king."

"This will delay his and demon ascent, but only by about a year," the boy warned.

Relieved by this timeline, I thought, "I know what I must do. I'm still not strong enough to fight him; I need to cultivate and master my new abilities especially the new abilty I had gotten with that ability One more breakthrough, and I'll be ready."

Considering the boy's exhaustion, I offered him food and other essentials. Using my Base Creation ability, I crafted a natural-looking wall, complete with plants to make it appear aged.

"You rest," I said. "We'll plan our next move later."

I resumed practicing relentlessly, focusing on my body as well. The numerous scars, 12 in total, served as reminders of my encounter with the waterfall. Two on my legs, five on my back, three on my stomach, one on my breast, and one on my face – all testament to that fateful event.

Initially, I sought to find the waterfall's source, determined to surpass its power. I dug holes up to 10 km deep, but its origin remained elusive. The speed and force of the wave baffled me; its starting point should have been devastated, yet I found nothing.

Shifting priorities, I began cultivating energy through a specialized method involving formations and spirit stones. This technique had drawbacks, mainly unstable energy, but my flame helped purify and balance it.

Interestingly, I discovered this flame shared a connection with the Shinigami flame. After harnessing it, my internal sensations and heat intensified, but I ignored these changes, dedicating myself to continuous practice.

Time passed, with my focus solely on cultivation and growth. The scars remained, but I no longer saw them as imperfections; they symbolized my unyielding resolve.

My training continued unabated, fueled by an unrelenting drive to surpass my limits.
